Now that we are finally back in 1st place: Doesn't it seem like life is better? Have you worked a little easier today? Phucked a little harder? Drank a little slower? Hit them a Little farther and straighter

It only took them 971 days to get back into 1st place. Is this what $210M buys you nowadays?  They shouldn't get too comfortable there, I'm sure it won't last.

The Steinbrenners will never realize that you cant buy sports championships because team chemistry is more important than stacking your roster with all stars with huge egos. Having said that I do think the yanks have a better shot this year than they have for a while. |

Brother NYG and other Yankee fans--Don't get your hopes up too much. You know how streaky a team that is--they are quite liable to jump up with a 3-7 10-game stretch. Stability is not their forte. |

NYG While they have been unable to accomplish that so far they will keep trying. I would rather see a league were there was such parity that it was a wide open race as long as possible. While not perfect the NFL system comes much closer to achieving parity then MLB does. |

Congrats on 1st place at the end of May!!!
But everyone knows A Hole can't hit when it counts...in September and October. Certainly Mark Texiera has never been in that pressure cooker either in October. Sox 1/2 game out of 1st and haven't played well, I'll take it for now. |
