:D Greetings Gentlemen :D

Many organizations such as CRT have little committees and sub-divisions and i hereby propose The COSTA RICA SUCKS Club as a sateliite group of CRT.

Come JOIN US!!! :)

Many of us who have pointed out the, shall we say, not-so-great things about Costa Rica mongering experience have met with anger and upset from other hobbyists...so I propose that we keep it all here among ourselves and if anyone should care to peer in, read and contribute, they do so at their own risk and responsibility.

It may seen a bit daft on a superficial level why such a CLUB would be desired when this board's stated purpose is a Gentleman's guide to the pleasures of Costa Rica....understood... why should we shoot it all down here? But things run loose and free around here...for example...

This "Gentleman's" board freely accepts hormonally inbalanced women to rage semi - coherently against respected members of the board without impunity...

so you see almost anything goes around here...

So come on down...tell us your shitty experiences in CR...why you prefer RIO MDE DR etc etc... Most guys who come to this point just go dark and leave. Take CRMarco for example...he is in heaven last we spoke with his Colombiana....we havent heard from him in years...he moved to the next level...

If you are ready to graduate from this pueblo too...chime in...I'd love to hear from you...

Clubmembers:

Phoenix Rising
GetRhythm
Spanky

Come and join!

I won't join because as Woody Allen says, I wouldn't join any club that would have me as a member. Plus, why would I want to join a bunch of whining perverts? Having said that, are there any free lunches with membership?

On a quasi-serious note, I always enjoyed CR. But when I discovered other locales, I tended to opt out of CR. I met nice girls in SJ and a few stunners during my 15 or so trips. But along with that were a lot of 5's and 5.5's, and the lookers tended to know it. There's also a lot of pressure of the fishing hole sort, with a lot of boats churning up the water.

When I went to Rio and to a certain extent, Colombia, I knew that was for me. My shortest trip to Rio was five nights and longest, five months. I also did a three-monther last summer. The volume of beautiful, sexy, really perfect women in Rio is staggering. Their skin is divine and asses the finest in the world. I'll hold their asses up to...well, I'll just hold'em up. And in Rio, and especially Colombia, you can find unspoiled, hot girls.

Now that I have one of my own, I haven't felt the need to travel to Rio or anywhere else. I have no illusions, however, that will hold. And when I again become weak, it'll be Colombia and Brazil.

But no. No clubs for CR disgruntals. It doesn't deserve it, given how far superior Latinas are to anything you'll find in the ol' red, white, and blue.

:P

That is the real truth behind many of the CR Sucks members. The reality is we have been to other locales. To me looks aren't as important as personality and the one consistent amongst mongers is that your 10 is my 5. It's just that once you see more of what the world has to offer your realize how limiting CR is. I want to explore so many different places that I doubt I ever will considering I keep going back to some because they were so much fun. To this day nothing can touch Pattaya for me. I have done mongering in other countries so I have something to compare it to and for sheer number of options available Pattaya wins. This isn't a preference of Asians over Latinas. I find all women attractive except for Dominicans and that's a a whole other thread. :D I just have come to realize that CR isn't the mongering paradise that I once thought it was. Even with my second trip to Pattaya I did things differently and even hooked up with a non-pro for the last few days I don't regret that experience one bit. My third trip I am sure will be different as I want to explore different parts of the city I have never seen before simply because I took the easy route except for the non-pro.

There are just so many other countries and places to see and go. This includes mongering trips along with non-monger places. My philosophy has become why limit yourself. I just need to stop going back to Pattaya and I think I will break myself of that later this year when I head to another South American destination.

Finally, CR is fine when you take it into perspective. Am I going to visit it this year, yes. It's good for a nice 4 or 5 days hanging out with friends and having a good time. Would I do 4 or 5 trips a year, never again. It's old and redundant for me and will never hold that charm again.

Jazz, we do have free lunches. GetRhythm takes us all out on the cash he makes from sales of his porno movies that he stars in. Phoenix Rising is both camera man and fluffer. So please join the CR Sucks Club since there is a free lunch involved.

Please sign me up also. Being the fervent admirer of Colombia that I am and because I am somewhat outspoken here on CRT I too have caught a degree of heat from many. I still visit CR for short extended weekend trips and I am still capable of having a good time there but that is because I take it for what it is!

True it will never again have the charm and magic that it did on my first trip there but I can still find chicas that are fun to party with. Much of this is due to the fact that I know the ropes and I know what to look for. However have no douybt that for anything longer than a 3 day weekend that I am headed to somewhere in Colombia.

I get a real kick out of all the guys who refuse to hear anything negative about CR. It seems that it is their Holy Grail and they cannot even contemplate the thought of trying somewhere different.

Once again as my wise old dad always says "You just don't know, what you don't know".

WELCOME ALL!

Rainman3...Personally, Colombia is my next interest...not just to monger but to immerse myself in the culture...that starts with my second trip to Medllin in April. Have always enjoyed your input here on CRT ... thanks for sharing... :)

Boys,
Don't shit where you eat.

As for me CR was a nice step up from the DR but as you have already discovered there are other venues to enjoy.

I have made 2 trips to CR since September 2006. They were both between Memorial Day and mid June last year. Both were far less than worth my time and money. But I could easily put the onus on me and not Costa Rica.

That being said would I return? Maybe, but it would only be for a short trip and more for the camaraderie with a little blackjack thrown in and NOT for female companionship, regardless of the variety.

Now play nice since this is a sandbox for all to enjoy.

Note to Jazz: That quote is usually attributed to Groucho Marx.

CR sure sucks. My real estate tax bill is $240.00 per year on a 200K condo. I should move back to Massachusetts where the tax on a comp. would be $3,000.00 a year. Yeah, it's awful.

Flyboy,

Don't be a hater
The point this group is trying to make is that there are many other locales and venues that offer much, much more for less money and often times in prettier and safer locations.

Yes a bad day in CR is better than a good day here in the USA no doubt!

I'm not a big joiner. The last thing I joined was the Army, and got screwed for almost three years.

Does CR suck? On my last trip it most certainly did, there sure are a bunch of c*ck suckers down there.

Health & happiness to all....

:) Lunchtime Discussion today: Costa Rica...to SUCK or not to SUCK?....that is the question.

First...does Costa Rica OBJECTIVELY SUCK? How does it compare with other venues? An empirical inquiry...

Second....does Costa Rica SUBJECTIVELY SUCK? What has been your PERSONAL experience? Does it SUCK for you more today than it did previously? Have you SUCKED it dry?

Third? Is it better to express that Costa Rica SUCKS in an "either/or" manner as in "IT SUCKS" or IT DOESN'T SUCK? Or would we better express this as point on a CONTINUUM of SUCKINESS?

And finally..which is more relevant? Objective or Subjective SUCKINESS? For example, let's say that we can present a very strong argument about why OBJECTIVELY Thailand is far better mongering than Costa Rica. Lets say you go to Thailand and IT SUCKS! What then?

Things to ponder.... :)

It sucks so much I'm taking a 24 yr. old hottie to Playa Samara (against better judgment) on Sunday. She's been a regular although infrequent visitor to my casa for more than 2 yrs. And she sucks real good.
