There's a marvellous morale-building program offered called Subs4Soldiers--deeply discounted magazine subscriptions for servicemembers serving anywhere overseas. You can either pick 1 or more folks whom you know or just donate $10/magazine sub/year and they'll pick from a list of requests.
A great way to show your support to the individuals however you feel about the goings-on.

Their home page shows male-oriented magazines but they should have titles our female servicemembers would enjoy more.
