This post looks political to. That said, I'd probably shoot myself if I ever had the misfortune to become President.

This Thread is to savor whichever side of the aisle you're on or whatever color your state is.

it would be most appropriate if it were a book burning center since his presidency was an assault on reason, decency, critical thought, prudence and other virtues gained through being learned and well read.

Gee, I don't know, Brother HJ--let's poll the population of Crawford--and this time include the Chicanos. Withal, history will be the judge, but it ain't lookin' good. Believe me, I have nothing but goodwill towards Texas and Texans-- I lived there and have a brother born there--not one of my favorite brothers but still...

Loco Mike:

That list on GWB is going to look pale when compared to the list this current socialist president has after his 4 years. And it doesn't even compare to the list of shit on the Clinton years....talk about two misfits in Bill and Hillary.

Problem is, they are all politicians and in my book none are innocent. The founding fathers must be rolling in their graves at the clowns in congress over the last 40 years. I wish we could expel them all and start over again.

The best days of this most admirable country are behind us. Now it's only a matter of time before this nation spirals down to exist no more.

Okay, so I'm a Libertarian.....sue me.

Sad.

YOu make good points Mule dick.
Both parties have royally phucked our country and are two birds of the same feather.
Ron Paul was always my top choice. The only guy who was not owned by the establishment.

Before Admin1 righteously scolds us all for being political--Brother HJ, aren't you forgetting about Ralph Nader? He got 1% of the vote in NJ this election.

That is the same percentage that thought he was right about the Corvair.

He was dead right about the Corvair--and GM finally got it right about a minute before they killed it. Mr. Nader has not to my knowledge asked for bailout money because he couldn't effectively compete. No more on this please--it's an old, dreary road.

Knock this off now  My first car was a Corvair and I wish I had still had it! I got my first make out session in a Corvair and the girl's bare foot kicked in the flimsy glove compartment door during that first tentative embrace. That Corvair ruled!!!!
