I am guessing the answer is no but if you have NHL Network or TSN or CBC, check out Canada's team. These guys are loaded, a number of future NHL stars here including John Tavares who is the most impressive junior from north of the border I have seen since Eric Lindros. Unlike Lindros, he is not a moronic mamma's boy, so that is a bonus. The U.S. is also pretty damn good, if you are a fan of USA hockey like I am you have probably been disappointed in recent years but I have to say that this group looks very good along with some nice individual talents we have produced lately (Kessel, Parise, Porter, et al). Colin Wilson is a player's player, man, this guy just finds the puck and knows exactly what to do with it. Great hockey sense and really changes speeds well; he is just a joy to watch. I have not gotten a great look at Sweden yet but their roster looks pretty good headed up by Victor Hedman, a savvy DMan who will probably go right behind Tavares in the entry draft. |

You are kidding, right Wilt? 
You can't even find an NHL game on TV, let alone a Junior game. I have DirecTV and I STILL can't find the Versus channel. What a HUGE mistake leaving ESPN. The NBA is resurging, why? ESPN. I like the sport Wilt, but live only for me. I go to 10-12 ECHL minor league games here. IMO, it is the 2nd best sport to watch live (does anything beat college football live?) |

haven't been watching anything but highlights, as tst said, you can't find it on TV, HOWEVER, I did see that AMAZING juggling shot that K*D made, and several others that have been really good... like Pink floyd said 500 channels of shit on the tv to choose from.... ok, I know it wasn't 500, but that's what we've got now days... |

It wasn't the NHL's choice, ESPN did not want to renew their contract. They discussed a return but Versus outbid them enormously for a renewal. ESPN and the entire U.S. media--including most decent hockey markets--just crap on hockey right now. For those interested, the WJC is being televised on CBC, TSN and, in the U.S., the NHL Network. |
