From a Philly Inquirer news article: "Police who videotaped a man having sex with his comatose wife in her nursing-home room violated his constitutional rights, an appeals court ruled yesterday [11 Sept. '08]. The court said he had an expectation of privacy with his wife, a stroke victim. The police abused that Fourth Amendment right against unreasonable searches by secretly videotaping the act. Her sister, speaking on the defendant's behalf, said that he was merely trying to show his love for his wife and this was a tactic to try to bring her back to consciousness." He is 59, his wife's age was unstated. Also unstated is why the videocam was in the room in the first place. |

I wish it too, Brother Dapanz1. But as long as there's bread and circuses and one's own ox isn't being gored...
