You should be happy they are in the tournament and not on probation yet because of Sampson.

yes they did but Dan Dakich has not had the team playing to their potential since Sampson got buyout....Gordon will go pro and he so needs at least another year in college.....and the suspension of Ellis who now is on the moon....Big Ten only pulled 4 and IU has the momentum of a Prius....but I hope like hell they regain their swagger and beat the Heels on Sunday..... |

UDUBFAN- 6/14 hearing in Seattle. I'm sure Sampson will be there. Hopefully Greenspan in unemployed by then and the NCAA is satisfied. |

The players wanted assistant coach Ray McCallum (not named in any of the infractions) to be named coach not Dakich. Dakich, 45, a former Indiana player and assistant coach and former head coach at Bowling Green, did not take Senderoff’s spot (the main culprit along with Kelvin on the coaching staff until early November '07... Here is why they were not on probation YET !!! Indiana University has until May 8 to provide a written response, but the matter could simmer late into the summer. The committee on infractions has a hearing in April, but because of the allotted 90-day window for Indiana to respond, the hearing is not expected to take place until the committee's planned June meeting Notice when General Bobby was coach, never heard about NCAA infractions then.... plus 3 National Championships in 11 years...
Phuckin Myles Brand cost us our coach and reputation. and Greespan, or whatever his name is who replaced Myles is a tremendous TOOL !!! Can't wait to see his next hire, if should be Scott Skiles (Hometown Indiana boy comes back home...(I Hope) but probably won't. Yes I agree (Air)  Gordon need more time,he has to handle the ball better and be able to take over games....Unfortunately with us probably going on probation and postseason bans, HE IS GONE !!!
4 spots in the tourney is all they deserved, Ohio State was rightfully left out...but us an 8 seed and in the toughest bracket (North Carolina is the true #1 team in the country), we deserved a bit better than that, but finished the season on a downer with Ellis suspended.... Beating North Carolina... Like I always say, if you are going to dream...DREAM BIG !!! They will be lucky to get by Arkansas in the 1st round and this is coming from an '81 graduate

El S; I had such high hopes for Dakich. Now it seems his time as the HC of IU is all but done. Tough position for him anyhow. Myles Brand started the decline, and the president IU had after Myles did not help things either....IU presently has bigger concerns than its basketball program, but I hope the current university president can solve them all. Dream big, sure. If the Giants hadn't my last trip to the gulch would not have been as exciting. Go 'Canes.

GO HOOSIERS, yeah I know they will probably lose in the 1st round and not even get a chance to get embarrassed by North Carolina |
