Its been 10 days since my last postcount update, perdoneme...

Well postcount fans, those words I wrote 10 days ago have finally come true. Early this morning El Silencioso became El Eleventhioso and has widened a three post lead 2268 to 2265 over VegasBob. It is lamentable that he continues to abuse posting priveleges by padding his count with such posts as:

GetRhythm has been having trouble keeping it up, falling 17 behind ES, limping in at 2251. The fact that his mind has been wandering to Rio and beyond has not helped. In fact, last week things got a little tense, as members showed their frustrations with his less-than-positive assessment of the CR mongering scene as compared to other countries. This may compel him to post elsewhere and slow down his rise in the postcount rankings. However, the majority of us implore the sexiest of our sexiest bitches to please stick around,


Tman on the other hand, must have taken note when I sounded the alarm about the approaching El Silencioso silently riding up his butt. He stepped it up with 10 posts in the last 3 days. Again it is lamentable that the above ES post consisting of three letters holds equal weight to Tmans fabulous travelogues in the "Costa Rica revisited thread. Tman, classic post and thanks.

Well, Old ES has shown no sign of putting the brakes on his relentless climb up the postcount charts as he has added 29 posts since last report 4 days ago. And the tally would have actually been higher, since he at least showed a bit of restraint when updating the ATTENDEE list for the upcoming happy hour this Sat at the SL. At times he would "EDIT" a previous post instead of copy and paste into a new one. We have to at least give him credit for that. With Tman back in Panama though, I suspect ES will be in the coveted top ten in about 3-4 weeks.

Another interesting bottleneck is brewing in positions 33 - 38. Here are the standings as of the moment, and posts so far this year:

Some analysis:

Cali-dude hasn't been to CR since Sep 06 and is quite content in his S Fla life with his smokin hot Colombiana , so it is doubtful he will be able to keep up with the gang and will likely drop to the bottom of the group,..

Spanky, with his 14 inch member, is apparently fully aware of the dividends of a high postcount and will post accordingly. Shawn, OTOH, spends so much time in Costa Rica banging away he doesn't have the time to post as much as he could. Berk, who appears to be giving up CR for a gringa girlfriend, may find his time better spent getting his BBBJCIMs instead of posting, and hence may drop back a bit.

Good evening postcount fans

Well just got back yesterday from Trip 25 and had the opportunity to meet and roll with old El Silencioso himself...and have to say he's a gent and a scholar, a true CRT goodfella and worthy of his postcount ranking...

OK now back to busting his balls...

ES did not post much while on the front lines in SJ of course, but since he's been back at his desk in Chicago he has posted 23 times as he sets his sights on Tman and the top ten. ES has 2318 ....nope 2319 posts to date (just posted on the "Hardcore Mongerer" thread as I speak) now only 44 posts from the top ten. As many of you know Tman has 52 posts under an alias name and I hereby petition Admin1 to merge those 52 posts to his total. Fair is fair.

GetRhythm has been GetPostin' himself lately, apparently taking the cue from his old nemesis ES and posting 8 times so far today. Apparently not satisfied dropping into 13th spot, he's only 14 posts behind VegasBob who probably doesn't give a rat's ass about this postcount crap. So it looks like GR will regain his #12 position unless VB starts getting busy.

El Ciego becomes 5th member to reach 3000 Posts

On Jan 22, 2008 El Ciego took a 3 week sabbatical from the board... On Feb 12 he returned and has been absolutely on FIRE wit an incredible 102 posts in 9 days. Does this guy spend any time away from the BOARD? Anyway he has smoked past the 3000 mark. However, I must point out that he did it a bit unscrupulously as post #3000 was:



Guess he was too anxious to get there But congrats to EC for achieving this milestone. Unlikely he will ever rise to a higher ranking, as ID, Paco. Mucho and Orange show no sign of letting up. The amount of time they troll the sight in search of opportunities to make comments...well the mind just boggles.


Lee on the verge of recieving PHD from the Del Rey University

Infamous long time monger Lee has posted a total of 990 times and so is 10 away from recieving the coveted PHD award from the HDR University. In fact there are probably few mongers who deserve it more, as when Lee hits the front lines he rarely sets foot outside the "OFFICE" itself. Good on you brother!
