I forgot! I have JOOST: http://www.joost.com which is an incredibly useful internet television of magnificant quality. If you have a laptop and are looking for programming (television) there are hundreds of programs on this new FREE service. Don't know if it works in Costa Rica, but I sure intend to find out on this impending trip! |

Steve: I can see no reason why it wouldn't work in CR. It's still the same inter-web that Al Gore invented wherever you go. I think that's why they call it the World Wide Web (www) I suppose the only issue you may have would be with the bandwidth of the connection you might be using. I know that when I travel the connections I find often leave alot to be desired. |

I aim to find out about the "connection" at Hotel Castillo, Western....and look forward to giving you a report once you too arrive. I admit I do spend "down time" in my room watching the tube and DvD's.....and getting ready for the 5pm Happy Hour at The Garden's...... Prolijo made a most excellent post about this place Turu Bari Park http://www.turubari.com which looks like a most excellent day trip to me though....that's at least one day....gotta find out how they, if they do, pick up in San Jose and return..... Anyway.....Joost is only getting better and I started using it when it was born. Was boring back then so quit.....but now I'm "...on the road again...."!! see you |

you will thoroughly enjoy turu bari, provided you enjoy the outdoor lifestyle. if so, and you enjoy a good adrenaline rush, i highly recommend you do 'the superman'. awesome awesome |
