This is VERY DISTURBING!

"They WANT our FREEDOM!!"

Yeah, BULLSHIT!!

WE no longer have ANY FREEDOM IN THIS COUNTRY!!!

The Post-9/11 world has forever changed our notion of privacy. There are now approximately 30 million surveillance cameras generating more than 4 billion hours of footage every week in the United States. And the numbers are only growing. The average American is captured over 200 times a day - in department stores, gas stations, changing rooms, and even public bathrooms. No one is spared from the relentless, unblinking eye of cameras hidden in every nook and cranny of day-to-day life. Shot entirely from the point of view of the security cameras. Adam Rifkin’s LOOK follows several interweaving, storylines over the course of a random week in a random city. A high school English teacher tries his best to be a decent husband; a department store floor manager uses the warehouse for more than just storage; a Mini-Mart clerk has big dreams; a lawyer struggles with a sexual dilemma; and two sociopaths thrive on ruining the lives of random strangers. LOOK tells five private stories which unfold before the prying eye of the covert camera to chilling effect. We all choose to hide aspects our lives from those around us, whether it is as benign as picking our noses in an empty elevator or something much darker. LOOK poses the pivotal question: Are we always alone when we think we are? LOOK around you and wonder.who is watching?

If you are doing nothing wrong, you should have nothing to worry about. IMO, the only people that should have issues about being "watched" are criminals and/or people who have something to hide. If you are concerned about your "privacy", stay home. Nobody is ever going to put cameras in your home.

Statistical fact, you are on camera about 80% of your life. I'm with Orange, if you aren't doing anything why really worry. I like to wave at the security cams from time to time. It lets them know I care.

No offense guys but you are fools. In nazi Germany I am sure as things went more and more the way of total state control there were those who thought " You dont have to worry if you aren't doing anything wrong."
Ben Franklin said " Those who would give up their civil liberties for security deserve neither."
We are being taken advantage of by a culture of fear whereby the threats are amplified to the point that people begin to believe that terrorists must be hiding under every bed.
Im not saying that the threat isnt real but the government is taking advantage of our fear to erode freedoms as part of an agenda.

Did you just compare our current state of affairs with Nazi Germany?

Orange,

Sorry, but I won't become a prisoner in my home!! Phuck that!!

I've never understood this arguement.

So, you would have no probelem with me video recording you walking into a HDR with a sweet young puta on your arm? How about sessioning with a puta, or two, at Zona Blue? Then posting it on the net for all the world to see?

You won't have anything to worry since you are paying for the sexo, in a country were prostitution is okay?

Phuck BIG BROTHER!

I don't need anyone watching my every move, especially recording it to use against me in whatever manner.

XMAN recently found himself in a world of shit over pictures and post, Phuck that if you dont' think capturing you on video won't be 100x worse.

SMILE  You're on camera!

So you are saying you live some place else other than the States? Your every move is mostly watched whenever you walk into a public place. Look up when you are shopping, look up when you are at the bank, look up when you walk into work. You are almost always watched. Hell, sitting in traffic you are likely watched on traffic cameras.

Oh, lets not forget the monitoring of all overseas communications as well. Those calls to Columbia are likely monitored. Same with you email. Hell, anyone and their Momma can tap your email since it's not secure anyways.

Buy your airline ticket online, they know when, where, and how you paid for it. They datamine your credit card transactions as well. Unless you are telling me you pay cash for everything and that is even more suspicious.

The illusion of you not being watched is absurd. Sorry, big brother can and does know pretty much all that you do. They look for anomalies and patterns that trigger their alerts. By trying to beat the system and worry about it, you are likely triggering it and making yourself a target.

Don't K*D yourself either that the US is the only country doing this. Most of the larger first world countries are doing the same. The EU is almost as bad as the US in regards to how much data is collected on the residents of the various countries.

So it's either accept it as the world we now live in and move on or become a hermit living off the land.

Yes he did. In fact, the exact phrase you used in your previous post (above) was used (in German of course) to justify the activities of the Gestapo. Nearly verbatim, Orange.

Careful boys... we're coming dangerously close to violating forum rules regarding political discussions here, aren't we?

TP,
You need to decide if you will argue against the US government watching us or being watched on foreign land. Your post at the top mentions cameras in the US, then you cite examples of the HDR and ZB in the quote above. :? Are you saying the US gov't will videotape you in HDR and ZB?

And, since I don't walk into or out of HDR with putas, I'd have no problem with that. And I don't think ZB (or any establishment) will ever allow anybody to tape your private sessions. (If they did, I wouldn't care either because all my threesomes at ZB include a puta and my fiancee. :P )

You're right. I should have been more specific.

I just don't like that there are freakin' cameras everywhere today!

Actually, the more cameras there are, the less chance that anyone will ever watch the video. Millions of hours are recorded every day. What are the chances of somebody singling me out of the multitude? Why?

You could kill all the cameras if you fired up all toys at once. :P
