Gents;
While I realize FIU has two more home games (WTF cares), did any of you attend and/or watch the Hurricanes finale at their storied stadium (I am confident BK Tuna was thrilled with the outcome). I have never seen a football team come out so flat for what for them should have been the "10 at Europa 2000" experience. With a bigger crowed than was at the Thursday night Texas A&M game back in September, UM was absolutely misearable. And KW started, and KF the week before went 1-14, 84 yeards, 1 TD, 3 INT, in a loss to NC State. NC STATE!! MIchael Irvin, who went to that game (which I elected not to attend), was so distraught he elected not to attend last night's. Even with a majority of the crowd in to see "The Rock" announce seniors and starters in his dramtic fashion, that team could not produce. The UVA players were quoted discussing the enormity of the event (OB finale) and then my UM buddy tells me Randy Shannon says the players are too young to appreciate the Orange Bowl. Not the ending to a tremendous venue (yes the facilities actually suck but the games that have transpired there hold there own against any football stadium in America) any UM fan would ask. Or, honestly, Dolphin, Jet (SB III), Oklahoma (some nice OB Classic wins) would want. At least they could have been competetive. That was where Shockey introduced himself to the world with his late 4th quarter catch against Free Shoes in '00. And getting pasted by UVA (not VA Tech) when favored. Unbelievable.

Sorry, just sickened by the state of UM football.

It's truly a lowly time for south Florida sports teams....

The Dolphins found new ways to remain winless today...
Ted Ginn, the #1 draft pick, ran a kickoff back for a TD in the fourth quarter only to have it nullified by a holding penalty...

The Marlins sucked big time this year and may leave the state... Good riddance...
I'll travel to Wrigley field and enjoy some great days at a real ball park with awesome fans... 8) :arrow:
