All you tough-guy-goomba-lovin'-mafia freaks out there, I'm sure that it's a sad week for many of you as it is for me. The reason why....? After a terrific 8 years of Tony, Silvio, Pauly, Christopher, Big pu*sy and all the gang, The Sopranos is finally coming to a final close this Sunday. What a ride... Personally, the first three seasons were absolute magic, and the show after that really faltered in terms of becoming more of a soap opera than a mafia series. But this season has really brought it back to life, just in time to cut us all off at the knees, forever yearning for more.

So how will it end??? I thought the whole series was setting up for the ultimate betrayal of Christopher turning on Tony and killing him, but we all know now that won't happen! With Chris and Bobby sleeping with the fishes and Sylvio in an unrecoverable coma, the possibilities have been severely narrowed down on how it will all end.

My guess is this... As a true form of poetic irony, Pauly Walnuts will be the one to whack Tony. The irony comes in how Tony contemplated killing him on the boat a few episodes back, but decided not to. They have the longest history together and Tony has referred to him as a father on one or two occasions. Pauly has been flirting with the New York side of the business as far back as when old Carmine was still in charge, so it would only make sense. I don't like the idea of Pauly being the last man standing in Jersey (or the possibility of the series ending with him becoming NJ boss), but it would make sense when looking back at the buildup.

Any thoughts out there, any crazy theories??? Will Tony live, will he go to jail, will Carmela stand by her man, will AJ forever go into the Sopranos archives as spineless pussy-boy crybaby? I guess we'll all know finally in just four days...

fuhgeddaboudit.

Agree with Ruff on likely conclusion of the series. After last week with Bobby getting whacked, after spending 8 grand on a toy train set , and Silvio apparently out of it I immediately figured Pauly hooking up with Phil and selling out.

Now that Ruff has given his take, and I see it matched my thoughts, I am worried that it to obvious an ending. Sunday night should be fun

First half of season six has been out on DVD for sale for a while now, so it shouldn't be hard to order it and have it delivered to you.

Regarding the second half, I guess anyone with a dvd burner and hbo on demand could help you out.

Back to predictions!!!

- Tony Soprano will live on!
- Pauly will get whacked.
- Phil Leotardi will get whacked.
- Silvio will (eventually) come out of his coma.
- AJ will have a sex change operation, and come back as Antoinette Soprano, and will run the "family", after Tony retires.
- Carmella will hook up with the FBI guy, and live happily ever after.
- Meadow will be a top rate porn star.

You'll see all these results on next year's special "Soprano's Reunion" show. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

I agree with Ruffnutz about the first three years being the best. All the time wasted on therapy could have been filled up with killings and more T&A. Although the T&A in the strip joints leaves a lot to be desired.

I believe that Tony will survive probably without Pauly and that Tony will move up in the organization after taking out Phil. I just do not see them killing off Tony forever cancelling out any future ideas of a special or a movie which would need Tony. Carmela will "stand by her man."

I have enjoyed this year because it somewhat went back to it roots of lots of violence and T&A.

Have a Great Day,

Dave

How about something really screwed up. Remember when Tony was shot by Junior? He was in a coma, having a dream about being a copier salesman or something. This time he wakes up and he really is a salesman and the whole story has been a dream.

Difficult to disagree with MG considering his heritage he most likely has inside info. :P

Word on the street is his supposed business is just a front to hide his real activities. Kind of like Barone Sanitation was for Tony and lets not forget his boat which is great for giving guys a one way ride to the gulf stream. :P

I was looking for spoilers on the web and it was insinuated in one place that one of Tony's family members (REAL FAMILY) will die. I was thinking about this and I thought the ideal person for this to happen would be Carmela.

IF MEADOW DIED: Too much like Godfather 3, and it would suck.

IF AJ DIED: Too predictable, and not much of a loss, considering that he's suicidal and worthless anyways.

IF CARMELA DIED: Now THAT would Phuck up Tony and make him get mid-evil on some NY Ass... He would lose it without Carmela, especially after his failed relationship with his mother and all the guilt he's harbored on occasion due to his philandering ways... This would be the ideal critical loss to Tony, which could cause him to totally flip his wig.

All that aside, it would be a good ending to have Tony at his swimming pool laying out in the sun at the very last scene and have the ducks come back from Season 1. This would put the show's circling of the wagons complete to the point where it ends right as it began.

Somehow him seeing the ducks returning to his pool puts a serene smile on his face and brings him a peace and inner tranquility that no amount of therapy with Melfi could ever bring... THE END.

My 2 cents.

Damn Ruff. You should be one of the writers. The above scenario would make for a great ending to the series! The return of the ducks... Priceless!!!

my view ...tony gets wacked but for the series to go on...(or movie) they start before the series started ...put some more hair on tony, have him lose about 40 lbs and then we get all the good guys we loved to hate ...(they have been killed ) ....just a way to bring back all the guys who made the series great....and before all the wasted time with the shrink..i have taped some of the shows just so i could fast foward her parts ...

There was a commercial for the Sopranos tonight on HBO. The tag line for the final episode was No More Hiding. Since Phil was in hiding at the end of last weeks episode is that a clue? We shall find out Sunday

Vegas Odds on the final episode of the Sopranos

Since viewing Sunday night’s (June 3) episode of the Sopranos I have been on edge waiting for Betting Lines on next week’s final episode to hit the sportsbooks. I arise Tuesday morning to good news. Super sportsbook Bodog.com has posted Sopranos lines. This is where the fun begins.

Bodog.com has posted five betting props ($50 maximum) for you to chew on before making your bets prior to Sunday’s final episode. Just like you, I have my opinions and some of them are strong as to what might really happen.

Prop 1- Will Tony Soprano survive the final episode of the Sopranos?

Yes -150

No +110

Tony must be dead before the end of the June 10th episode for NO to be the winner.

<!--[if !supportLineBreakNewLine]--><!--[endif]--> Opinion: Yes , Tony Soprano will survive. Isn’t Sunday Fathers day? Do you for once think David Chase would kill off the “Big Guy” on Fathers day? I think Tony might get severally injured but he survives. If Tony is killed, it destroys his entire family. I don’t think the writers and producers intend on Sopranos ending on a sour note after all these years. The -150 line is a good value: Tony survives.

Prop 2- Will Paulie Walnuts survive the final episode of the Sopranos?

Yes -170

No +130

Paulie must be dead by the end of the Jun 10th episode for NO to be the winner.

Opinion: I am having a hard time with this prop. My first thought is No, Paulie doesn’t survive. My thinking is Paulie gets caught up in the cross fire in the war between Phil Leotardo and Tony. I will comment more on this when we discuss Silvio Dante later in my Prop 5 opinion.

Prop 3- Will Phil Leotardo survive the final episode of Sopranos?

Yes +120

No -160

Phil must be dead before the end of the June 10th episode for NO to be a winner.

Opinion: No , Phil Leotardo dies. Count on it; excellent value at -160.

Prop 4-If either is killed (Tony or Phil Leotardo) who will be killed first.

Phil Leotardo -180

Tony Soprano +140

If both are killed the winner will be determined by whoever is killed first in the show, regardless of flashbacks or non-linear story telling.

Opinion: Phil gets killed first; end of discussion; forgetaboutit! No way do they kill off Tony Soprano…I think Phil gets killed by Tony Soprano in an episode ending showdown. Take Leotardo at -180 for the best value on the board.

Prop 5- Will Silvio Dante wake up during the final episode of the Sopranos?

Yes -120

No -120

Silvio must verifiably wake up before the end of the June 10th episode for yes to have action. Eyes must open or words must be spoken by Sil for yes to be graded the winner.

Like you, I will be on the edge of my seat waiting for Sunday’s final episode. Good Luck.

Ah the topic of debate around the water cooler up here in good old NJ this week has been the Sopranos and how it will end. Being here in the garden state lends me no special insight other than what Steve Van Zandt said on an interview a few weeks back. When questioned if there could be a Soprano movie he stated, not unless they are going to do it pre-mortem or in simpler terms everyone is dead so it would have to be before or some sort of during the series with no link to the actual show.

OK with that said, here is the hot rumor mill up here. AGAIN HOT RUMORS FROM NJ and my opinions to go with it.

1. Meadow gets blown up or killed being chased by NY because she is driving Tony’s Escalade. (As stated too much like Godfather 3 and David Chase would not do that.)

2. Paulie takes out Tony. My opinion he is actually the most loyal as it comes to Cosa Nostra of any of them, as weird as he has been with all his hostility it just isn’t happening.

3. Tony goes into the witness protection program and Agent Harris busts in to save the crew at Tony’s mothers house. I certainly hope not what a Rip off that would be.

4. AJ dies: WHO CARES I wish he was gone years ago, though that Dominican broad he was banging was phucking smoking.

5. Carmella Dies, Nah serves no purpose.

6. Silvio wakes up from his coma, A logical conclusion and a well liked character

7. Patsy Parisi is the rat, if he was than the entire Meadow with his son thing ruined the though, my thought is he is a bit part Sunday.

8. Melfi and Tony hook up at the end Sunday, Man she looks brutal, only time she was even remotely hot was in Goodfellas as Henry Hills wife, he can do better, bring back Gloria Trillo or the Hot Russian Irena.

A THE # 1 Rumor of them all which is absolutely horse shit Adriana is alive and Silvio never took her out and she is feeding the Feds all the Intel. NOT!

Now what do I think would happen…. War is all out, Tony takes, out Phil, and his entire Crew, Tell me is there any one person more annoying than that dead eyed prick at Phil’s right hand Butchy, The miserable little prick should have been gone long ago. Only ones left standing are Tony, Paulie and Silvio who comes out of it. Family returns to the house and Tony feel empty losing so many with so much going down…. I was leaning towards him being empty at the end, but whoever came up with the Duck think just might be right a perfect ending.

And that’s the way I see it!
