"I'm not DEAD yet"-Rex

It's going to be ugly today, the Pats will toy with them like a cat that just caught a mouse and is swatting him around before the final kill....

The "euthanasia" will be administered next week in Miami, and next year the Jets can start their rebuilding with a new QB and coach...long suffering Jets fans will then at least have 'hope' once again. :P New Yorkers will be rid of one of two embarrasing "blowhards" and now will only have to suffer their imbecilic mayor.

Haha, the Fins struggled and barely fought off a losing team at home with an "ugly" win, but a win is a win is a win...

I do see shades of a young Marino with this QB, he keeps getting better... :D

C'mon down Rex, we'll get this over with quick...

Arghhh....the final humiliation...a soon to be delivered final pummeling by quite possibly their most hated rival...

Then the stern admonishment and a pink slip....

Oh well, some NFL team will be willing to pay millions for his defense expertise, life can't be so bad even if you are publicly repudiated for your misguided arrogance...

Well, 2 teams showed up today, apparently one who had been told their coach and qb would return next year, business as usual, I guess no great passion to win one last one although our qb played well, defense and o line perhaps had their minds on their upcoming New Years Parties....

Another team, written off, humiliated, they wanted to fight for their case and their coach, (who the hell was this qb??? Where did he come from all of a sudden??? I only expect this type of qb playing from Manning or Brady...)

Well, if Woody Johnson hasn't already made financial commitments, he's got to decide between 2 teams, one that stumbled and fumbled all year, was poorly coached, a mediocre junior qb, pathetic offense and a team that defeated a technically superior team at their home field, a team that kept getting put away but kept coming back, a team that wanted to win.... :!:

Rex said if he gets jettisoned he won't accept a dc job ''for somebody else's team''. Does that mean if he is shown the door another is opening somewhere else? Stay tuned, why watch soap operas, these head coach dramas are the best!!!! :!: :!: :!:

Since they got rid of Rex, they should start getting rid of some of the underachieving players like Geno Smith despite what happened yesterday. He cannot be the Jets starting QB next season.

He could be the Jets backup QB, not the starter.

If he played like he played against us all year he would be MVP and going to the Hawaii Bowl, I never expected that! As an ex qb (3rd string high school 1969-1970 in the style of Al Bundy) I was astounded at his playing!!! If he lapses back, it will be an aberration in his career, but if he keeps that up, wherever he goes, he could have an incredible future...

I have to agree, old Rex is quite the character, he'd be hilarious as a football commentator, but I suspect some team may want to take a chance on him as long as they have an excellent OC and qb coach, he focuses too much on defense and takes offense for granted, but he is a players coach and they love this loud arrogant clownish buffoon....
