If you can't score runs you aren't winning many games in Oct

Yeah my money is on Zack as well
Shame we didn't get to him last year but CK came up big today
Not feeling bad at all about making the choice to see My Morning Jacket though what a band
Have a couple of possibilities for the Thursday game but feel better about freaking out alone on this one
Going to be epic if its Dodgers/Cubs on Saturday!
Congrats to the Cubs on taking out the hated Cards 8)

No matter who faces the Cubs, won't nearly everyone besides Dodgers or Mets fans be pulling for the Cubs?! They haven't won a World Series since 1908, and haven't even been in a World Series since 1945 :!:

dont make your plans for saturday just yet. the mets aint going away quietly and we got our ace going. last i checked he put up all 0's with 13 k's in game 1 so dont get ahead of urself if you think we cant beat greinke. and then take out the cubs and extend that world series winless streak. i say another 100 years sounds right to me

Doubt it FlushingKid... This looks like our year. Kershaw finally wins the "must win" game, and your "ace" is going up against a Cy Young award contender on his home turf. One game anything can happen but odds are on the side of Dodger Blue.

Because your predictions against the Cubs have been so good to date ?

First you were rooting for the Pirates
Then you were rooting for the Cards

Guess prognostic ability is NOT your thing huh ? :P

My Early Prediction....... Mets go DOWN in LA. :)

DeGrom wasn't even close to dominant in game 1 and tonight he was there for the taking
He basically had a fastball on fumes and lived on his off speed
The Dodgers don't deserve to win anything and hey, after three straight playoff appearances you have to admit they are consistent

Agreed. Both LaD and PR.

That team has no heart. Donnie Douchebag has to go..

The Dodgers let it go. It's hard to swallow this one. We had their guys on the ropes, all those failed at bats with guys in scoring position…plus rookie shortstop failed to cover third on the stolen "empty base" by Murphy who was fabulous the entire game for the Mets.
The Mets played and pitched a great game 5, other than Turner the Dodgers didn’t.
