Report: Cowboys fire Phillips

Jerry Jones apparently finally had a change of heart.

The Dallas Cowboys owner went from saying week after week that there would not be an in-season coaching change to reportedly firing Wade Phillips on Monday.

The Cowboys were dominated 45-7 Sunday night by the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field in a prime-time national television appearance. Jones lowered the boom on Phillips with the Cowboys reeling at 1-7 and surely destined for a losing season.

Speculation is that offensive coordinator Jason Garrett will be named the coach on an interim basis. Of course, he’s done an underwhelming job since being hired to a $3 million a per year job. Stay tuned.

Got nuffin' to add here. The Cowboys can suck all day, every day as far as I'm concerned. I'm a Broncos fan, and when the Donkey's Phuck up and their season ends the Niners are my fall back team.

Most of the way through the first quarter makes me say they suck REALLY bad...

Defense has given up one TD and offense has delivered up two for SF while blowing a first and goal...that is Podunk H.S. football

The funny thing is if Bill Belichick or Tom Coughlin was the Cowboys coach over the last five years they would not have had less than ten wins in any of those years. That assumes they could keep Jones out if it. They always have had better than average talent its just there all pulling in different directions. IMHO
