Did they tell you madness passes? Did they tell you?"

There's no such thing as passing madness!

The monstrous has become mundane

Addiction is no revolution!!

Make sure your knife is sharp and clean
Make sure you're not too late, not too soon

he he....good one Zunbake! The Hombre's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgVMMdOplHw&fmt=18

Johnny Cougar covered it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqJMbbfJJT8&NR=1&fmt=18

....once you pull up a video, go to the URL and add this parameter to the end of the URL (without the quotes): "&fmt=18" ... this will create a H.264 mp4 version of the video with AAC stereo audio that will be higher quality (if the original uploaded clip isn't too crappy to start with, and many on YouTube are). I believe the resulting video is also suitable for iPod and videophone use.

Did you ever see that chick in the sexy slip dancing on that John Cougar cover of let It All Hang Out!! Hot to say the least!!!

Hell yeah I saw it! Here is her name and a link to more links of her photos (...and that is why I posted the YouTube link to that very video)...Ashley Richardson Montana

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ashley_Richardson

http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&q=As ... 32&bih=728

Plus, she was giving it up in that video (yeah, it's "pretend"...)....to that "plus size" boy.....them hot stuff CRT youngins' don't get that MANY chics are attracted to the superior intellect of some of us....yourself included....as I am sure MOST bluesmen: We KNOW how and when to move and use the REAL muscle and we got more to talk about than "ME TARZAN>>>>YOU JANE>>>UGH (...and then SIXTY SECONDS later...it's all over and done with.....)"......!! hahaahhaahhahaha.... :P :P :P :D :D :D

Well, the neighborhood bully, he’s just one man
His enemies say he’s on their land
They got him outnumbered about a million to one
He got no place to escape to, no place to run
He’s the neighborhood bully

The neighborhood bully just lives to survive
He’s criticized and condemned for being alive
He’s not supposed to fight back, he’s supposed to have thick skin
He’s supposed to lay down and die when his door is kicked in
He’s the neighborhood bully

The neighborhood bully been driven out of every land
He’s wandered the earth an exiled man
Seen his family scattered, his people hounded and torn
He’s always on trial for just being born
He’s the neighborhood bully

Well, he knocked out a lynch mob, he was criticized
Old women condemned him, said he should apologize.
Then he destroyed a bomb factory, nobody was glad
The bombs were meant for him. He was supposed to feel bad
He’s the neighborhood bully

Well, the chances are against it and the odds are slim
That he’ll live by the rules that the world makes for him
’Cause there’s a noose at his neck and a gun at his back
And a license to kill him is given out to every maniac
He’s the neighborhood bully

He got no allies to really speak of
What he gets he must pay for, he don’t get it out of love
He buys obsolete weapons and he won’t be denied
But no one sends flesh and blood to fight by his side
He’s the neighborhood bully

Well, he’s surrounded by pacifists who all want peace
They pray for it nightly that the bloodshed must cease
Now, they wouldn’t hurt a fly. To hurt one they would weep
They lay and they wait for this bully to fall asleep
He’s the neighborhood bully

Every empire that’s enslaved him is gone
Egypt and Rome, even the great Babylon
He’s made a garden of paradise in the desert sand
In bed with nobody, under no one’s command
He’s the neighborhood bully

Now his holiest books have been trampled upon
No contract he signed was worth what it was written on
He took the crumbs of the world and he turned it into wealth
Took sickness and disease and he turned it into health
He’s the neighborhood bully

What’s anybody indebted to him for?
Nothin’, they say. He just likes to cause war
Pride and prejudice and superstition indeed
They wait for this bully like a dog waits to feed
He’s the neighborhood bully

What has he done to wear so many scars?
Does he change the course of rivers? Does he pollute the moon and stars?
Neighborhood bully, standing on the hill
Running out the clock, time standing still
Neighborhood bully

I messed up before I went to Viet Nam.....going back to 1968 and I admit it. I was in Chicago in 1968 and was a young fool. Humphrey just may have been the solution.....even if not so, how could he have been worse than that used car salesman?:

HUMPHREY: "We have forgotten that we are our brother’s keeper. We have forgotten about each other. We are the victims of neglect. We have neglected cities and farms and people and Ch*ldren and the elderly. And we have had as the measure of our success that those who already have too much shall have some more. That’s right – rather than those who have too little shall get enough! And the real test of.....if you please, of a man of spirit, of faith, is that he sees to it that those who have too little get enough".

http://www.hhh.umn.edu/news_events/Cent ... script.pdf

Irrespective of where I may get "paychecks".....I have been making certain of the later to the extent I am able......for some 34+ years......big deal, eh?

Everytime you hear the original Allman Brothers live, you hear the late, GREAT Duane Allman making sure to give credit to his friend and partner Dickey Betts! I''ve read many quotes from Duane where he goes out of his way to compliment Dickey Betts and his musicianship. The reason I bring this up is for all the 'new' Allman Bros fans, God bless them all. Lets remember that Dickey started the Southern dual-guitar assault that has been copied but never duplicated with Duane Allman! Duane was a demanding band leader, and his admiration for Dickey Betts speaks volumes. Dickey Betts continues to play marvelously today, sometimes with his son, DUANE Betts......
ps- Berry Oakley was a SON OF A GUN on bass GUITAR.....He was one of a kind. RIP Duane and Berry.

Here we have Duane Allman before he was known:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqI81Xa2mFk&fmt=18

Despite the fact Bozz Scaggs stole the song from Fenton Robinson, took credit for it which compelled Robinson to sue his ass (Scaggs HAD been a decent bluesman himself, handling guitar in the Steve Miller Band until that damn tune "Lowdown" made Scaggs a singer....not a player.....singers make more money I rather suspect....*shrug*), there is no denying that Allman knew what he was doing with that Les Paul (OR is that a Strat....odd...not being able to be certain....) as he sat in a crummy john knocking the balls off the other guys in the recording.

2-3 years later, At Filmore East is released and the Allman Bros. Band is on the map

Clearly, a bluesman's guitarist. Glad to supply....not so much the clip...but were you aware it was his guitar playing on that specific song? Note how many claim it is the "best" guitar solo of any blues song around? Funny stuff.....close but no brass ring....

We shall differ on the next point:

He went downhill with that "southern rock" jive, bro. The 1st Allman's Bro band was good....the one that done had "Down to the Whipping Post"....however after that.....from Steven1 "Who the HELL are the "Allman's Brothers Band?" ahahahhahaahhahahahahhahahahahahaah......just funnin'

(sides....you is East Coast Boy....long live Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul and Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes....NO JIVE....)!!!!!!! hahahahhaahahahahahha

PS: Ask me sometime when I met Little Steven in NYC. We were both at the play "Bloodknot". I went up to him, stuck my hand out....which he took....looked him in the eye and said "LONG LIVE FELA!!!!" It was way cool....for me anyway.....and that's what it is all about....it is ALL ABOUT ME!!! hahahahhahahahhahahaha :P 8)
