It's all about TEAM and the Heat were VERY fortunate to win last year, all the basketball world knows it now!

and duncan quietly resigns with zero fanfare
and you are spot on the spurs should have the last two but at least you guys got it done this year
and the rest of the bb world outside of miami was rooting for you
going to be fun watching the heat play in front of an empty arena this year  8) :P

Puh-leeze.

The rest of the bball world was rooting AGAINST the Heat. If the Spurs hadn't made the Finals, you would have been rooting for the Thunder, Trail Blazers or (egads!) the CLIPPERS to beat the Heat. That's how you haters roll.

You need to give up on that Heathate and use that passion in a more constructive fashion. Like mourning your team.

No, I read it correctly. I know what you said, and I would argue your statement s not true.

With the exception of Real Spurs fans (all six of them), people rooted AGAINST Miami. It just so happened the Spurs were the Heat's opponent, so the fickle bball community defected en masse from their teams to the Spurs bandwagon. Typical hater behavior.

At least the Spurs are a classy organization. If we had to lose, the Spurs were the best opponent to lose to. No arrogance, chest thumping or Mavs statements such as "Hey LeBron, how does my Dirk taste?"

As to your second statement, it's not worth a response.

Cavaliers will struggle against a better team in Golden State Warriors...

Congratulations to the Warriors and their fans!

As a long-time Heat fan, I will be the first to admit I thoroughly enjoyed watching LeBron, Wade, Bosh and company compete for 4 championships in a row and winning two.

However, last summer we got to experience first hand what Cleveland fans felt when LeBron jilted them and took his talents to South Beach.

Watching how badly LeBron handled free agency -- with Riley practically begging him to commit to staying in Miami and LBJ not even returning Riley's phone calls, then making Wade and Bosh wait until he made up his mind to leave -- made me realize 2010's "The Decision" wasn't a result of poor judgment or bad advice. It's just who the guy is.

Karma is a bitch, LB.

Keen observations and analysis Miamiheller…

LeBron is the best basketball player in the world, right now, but he will never be the leader, nor have the mental strength, team commitment or command the level of peer respect and admiration that Michael Jordan did in winning 6 NBA championships.

LeBron is all about LeBron, not Miami or Cleveland, or any other team he may play for…his fans know it!

Very happy for Steve Kerr (ex champion in chi town) and the Warriors

Your above comment is exactly why people who compare LeBron to Jordan are so off base. He will never have Michael's ability to make those around him better. Which is why Michael was 6-0 in the nba finals. What is LeBron now. 2-3 ?

I'm not a huge LeBron fan, and I agree MJ was the best leader of all time, but the Cavs' injuries are still an important component to consider here.

actually 2- 4 and could have easily been 1-5 without that last second heroics
watching this series though i was almost going to give him props, i mean 40/10/8 average? gmafb thats insane
and then after one of the games he was asked something like how do you it and his answer was "what choice do i have we need to keep going w the guys we got"
no "hey i still have some great guys and we can get this thing done" and then he comes out with his "I'm confident because i am the best player in the world" statement.
Mebron flat our loves himself and while i feel for CLE and the fans Im really happy that the Warriors held their own and sent his egotistical balding selfish ass home. Humility is something he could use a little bit of help with.
And who's to say having Love or Irving would have been the difference? No way of knowing.
Too funny our resident heat fans are now mebron haters
And a big congrats to the GS Warriors and I remember 75 w Rick Barry
But don't you SF fans come in talking about how your team won, they play in Oakland and thats their victory!
Too bad the Lakers weren't smart enough to keep Jerry West.
What a great job he continues to do and i really don't think there is a GM of equal quality.
