Jersey is an island in the English Channel personally owned by the Queen (rentals there, Guernsey and the Isle of Man constitute the bulk of the Royal Family's wealth) and also the only part of the British Isles captured and held by the Germans. I live in NEW Jersey, the bulk of whose problems are caused by Philadelphia / NYC refugees bringing their attitude. No offense meant to you, Brother ID.

New Jersey....a great place to be FROM. That should be the official state slogan.

Although, ID, do you remember a place called Rut's Hut? A hot dog joint right off the highway somewhere. My dad took me there as a wee sprite many moons ago. To this day the best dog I have ever eaten! I just saw it on a Food Network show about a month ago. Deep fried hot dogs!!

I am not from Jersey. But I am Italian and grew up on the east coast of FL, sooooo...needless to say I have lots of familia in NJ!

Never was in Rut's Hut do you remember in what town they were in? Those dogs would have to great to be better then the ones at Johnny's and Angie's in Paterson. They also were deep fried as were the dogs at another place in Paterson, near the falls, that I forget the name of.

Thanks for the link. It also leads to Johnny & Hanges (sorry for the misspelling before) which has moved from Paterson to Fair Lawn. Fair Lawn was where I went to HS.

I think the place in Paterson, near the Passaic river falls, was Libbys but not sure.
