OldQDog - to put it in context, on January 7, 2009, you wrote: I often get confused in the triangle myself. My next adventure is to FIND the bush, to go big game hunting in the wilds of the jungle, to have to have my little buddies swim past the great barrier reef. Ya'll feelin me??? Looking for a quide

I just didn't understand the word "quide." Please do not take it as a criticism, only a request to teach me something that I didn't know. There are a lot of code words we use and I thought "quide" was a new one and I just wanted understand.

I don't believe in ripping on someone else because of a small mistake, which is very easy to make when you are typing away and half in the bag.

Diego

Got it. And no worries. Criticism in good taste is always welcomed. It is my mistake - typo. The word is "guide". Thanks for being a good brotha.

Now all you have to do is introduce me to your stable, especially the wooly mamouths :P

And as we all know, in Quide lore, the mamouths of the wooly variety are the most highly prized!!

Especially if they've been given quide so they're tranquil and don't itch. OK, I'm done now.

Sounds like I need to put a bit of that quide stuff in my CR survival kit. Along with me trusty mapa, Paco's palabras para el preguntas correcto, and my trusted "vidaestilos".

Now you know it takes a crew to hunt one of those wooly mamouths. So, don't get caught in the jungle without several good wingmen. I'm already following the scent laid down by what I have read as RC's adventures. And have again, followed Paco's suggestion and sent my carnal desires to a couple of scoutesses - intentionally mispelled 8)

Happy hunting.

I remember that song! "I like the way you do it...to it". What was that, the fall of 1978?

Ah...if only we had time machines to get back to an era before AIDS. Of course, if we did have time machines, we would be better to use them to find "Patient Zero", that Canadian flight attendant, Douglas Gaitan, who single handedly advanced the spread of the disease almost 30 years by having thousands and thousands of partners - even after he was told what he had.

While there is some controversy about whether Gaetan Dugas was "Patient Zero" or even if there was 1 point-source for the Modern Plague, it's agreed that this sociopatic quasi-human did much to spread it, as Brother IguanaSix said. Unfortunately I was unable to find out where his grave is located, so I could spit on it.

There may be an article on him but I don't know how to put the 2 periods over the a in his first name.

NB Except for the obvious, the worst thing about AIDS is the long incubation period--7-10 years after contact. Long time to be sweating bullets.
