Wow... I have mixed emotions about this ending. There are things I love about it, and things I hate about it. I like it a lot more now than i did 30 minutes ago... I really wish i knew about the movie, if it was going to be from this point on in the series, or if it is about another time. If it is not about what happens next, then i like the ending, although it could have really been better. I think Chase should have picked an ending and went with it.
I have some questions, but let me ge out some thoughts.
Do you guys think someone shot Tony? I do. Do we think it was the guy who went to the bathroom? They spent a lot of time on him, and he was occupied with Tony's table. It would be extremely Godfather 1, wouldn't it?
One thing I loved was the huge build-up. The suspense was ridiculous, it was driving me insane, I was at the edge of my seat clenching my fists, I couldn't wait. Every time Meadow re-parked, I was trying to find the significance. Why? What for? What will this delay allow for?
I thought the last scene was a beautiful scene. The song was a good choice, it's kind of a sentimental song. (I thought the final scene of six feet under was the most beautiful shot I've ever seen on television, this was nothing like that, music not as good either). I liked how each time a new verse of the song came on, was the "entrance music" for Carmella, or AJ... It was cool.
With all of the talk with Melfi in the intro, I somehow thought she would be there.
I thought we would find out more in terms of the future of the charges etc... but maybe it's inconsequential now.
If I was in hiding, I wouldn't be going to a gas station, or going to my sister's house, I would be hiding in paraguay with a fake mustache, or maybe at the Medellin Mansion.
Most of all, I loved what it made me think about life. He looked up, and the world went black. that can happen at any time, to anyone. You never know what could happen, so maybe I always wanted to go to Russia, or learn portuguese, well it's not going to happen by itslef, and perhaps something could happen 7 minutes from now that could end those dreams forever.
Now to my questions, was the guy in the diner of Middle Eastern descent? I'm going to read the credits again and go back and watch. I always wondered what were the significance of those guys that then disappeared.
How about AJ learning arabic and potentially that guy was a guy who shot them?

Do you think there was a hit out on Tony after what happened to Phil?
What the hell is going on with the cat? Do you think we are supposed to think it was adrianna reincarnated? did the feds train and bug the cat?
How on earth does AJ land hot girl after hot girl?

Agent harris... think he befriended the arabs and told them tony was bad?
Whoever did that to Tony, had to have heard he was going there, unless they followed him. Who else knew?
Does anyone know what might have happened? If anyone sees a good forum or site with good info, please share... I'm goi to wath this again...
