I didn't know that you are a UFC fan. I went to the Ultimate Fighter 4 season finale in November, at the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas. It was unbelievable seeing it in person. Plus, got to meet, and take lots of pics with some of the UFC greats, i.e., Shoney Carter, Jorge Rivera, Forrest Griffin, Anderson Silva, Randy Couture, Dana White, Bruce Buffer, and commentators Mike Fitzgerald & Joe Rogane. And after almost falling asleep watching Matt Serra beat Chris Lutter, it's obvious that Matt Serra is going to have his work cut out for him against George St. Pierre this weekend.

Speaking of Matt Serra and George St. Pierre.... WHAT AN AMAZING FIGHT LAST NIGHT!!! This was a true-to-life Rocky Balboa scenario, and it must have been one of the hugest upsets and amazing wins ever in UFC history... Hats off, Matt!!

I attended the UFC fight last night at the Toyota Center in Houston. What a gas. Enjoyed all the fights except the Koscheck vs. Sanchez. They just danced around the ring. I think Koscheck landed a solid kick to the shin of Sanchez that reminded me of when Sally Duval kicked me in the shin in the third grade. The entire arena booed them out of the ring at the end of the “fight” .

The Huerta vs. Garcia was fantastic. Great fight.

I knew very little about UFC until last night. I’m a fan now.

Personally though, I'm not nearly as impressed with Chris (Justin Timberlake dude) as the judges seem to be. That "Smooth" was way weak.

And I have to agree with Simon - Senjaya's "Besame Mucho" actually WASN'T horrible...

BTW - anyone know if Sportsmen's has HBO? I can't remember for sure. Can't miss Sopranos and Entourage this week...

As far as I remember, they definitely DO have HBO, but there's a small chance that their version of it is not in sync with the stateside one, so you should be resigned to the possibility that Sopranos and Entourage aren't even playing there.

Ruffnutz review and predictions:

Last night's performances, for the most part, sucked my balls. You remember how revved up and emotional you got when Lekisha first got on stage on the final 24 episode and belted out "You're gonna Love Me"...? Damn, I haven't gotten stirred up like that a single time since the final 12 started... last night was definitely the slowest night this season.

Melinda: No stupid "thank you" look... very witty when responding to Simon's criticism. DEFINITELY gained more fans this week.

Lekisha: GAWDAMN that chick has some humunga cowabunga tits. Too bad she's ugly. She'll be around next week though, no doubt.

Justin Timberlake: This dude rocks and the judges praises are well-fonded, in my opinion. Definitely not "top two" material, but he's definitely good. No risk of getting booted... yet

Haley: Haley makes it through by the skin of her teeth (emphasis on SKIN). Simon was brutally honest on his evaluation of her, but it's the sad truth (which I stated already last week)... She'll definitely be around for next week, due to pervs like me voting for her multiple times (AGAIN, I voted for her this week, but this time TEN TIMES!!) She is going to survive (not for long) simply because she is the only one that Ruffnutz would bend over the coffee table and drill her like the dirty little bad girl she's always wanted to be.... Come to Ruffnutz... Bottom three material, but not going home.

Phil: Great job... up until the very last 3 seconds where his voice cracked... What a shame, as this could have easily been one of his best performances... He's so phucked tonight. DEFINITE bottom three, and a stong chance he's the one to say "night-night" to.

Jordin: I know she has a strong following, but I don't really see what the big deal is. Nontheless, she has every teener bopper in the U.S. in her corner, as well as the minority vote. Don't get me wrong, she's a GREAT singer, but JEEZE Randy, stop sucking up to her so much!!!!

Blake: I need to know is awesome. Doing a Marc Anthony song is no easy task, but Blake made it seem DAMN easy... good for you Phucker!

Senjayah: Senjayah sucks my balls, but he wasn't the worst in the bunch. I think he'll be in the bottom three today though, and here's why... Howard Stern's ploy has backfired, as Senjayah is no longer the worst of the bunch. Now that Sejayah is no longer terrible, the novelty of him being on the show becomes dead. He'll be bottom three.


Today's elimination: Phil. No doubt... bet money on it with me if you like.
