i think if you want to understand more fully the rationale behind the sentiment of "CR Sucks", you may do well to visit some of these venues. I and many others believe that the overall quality of the experience is better in Colombia, the Dominican Republic, and those who have been to Brazil and Thailand have similar opinions of those venues. Why not do a little more exploring and see what it's all about?

So according to this logic, if someone enjoys apples, it's just because they don't know any better given that -- unlike the members of "I hate apples" club -- they haven't tried kumquats, pears, or mangoes. :D :D

Personally, I've tried kumquats, mangoes and pears. And I still like apples. ;)

Actually, i was thinking its a bit more like this...

I am just talking about apples, just apples..

The apple trees in Costa Rica bear fruit just as they do in all of the other countries. You can find some delicious succulent tasty apples in Costa Rica for sure. I've seen you mh, personally savor some of these apples at a particularly good fruit stand where they specialize in some of the best apples. But, in my experience these quality apples are just not as plentiful in Costa Rica as they are in some other countries. So in many cases the Costa Rican apple eater makes due with eating lesser quality apples.

In other countries there seem to be more apple trees bearing better quality apples. There seem to be more apple vendors around with a large supply of quality apples and thus their product is a little better value than the Costa Rican apples. You can get a better bargain when you buy these apples.

So if you are shopping for quality apples, why not go where you can find the better availability, service and price? Well, maybe there is something uniquely desirable to you about the Costa Rican apple that you personally enjoy. Well cool. Disfrutalo!

plus, in CR it is not illegal to rent apples to eat or to rest them on your fevered brow! (all sales final!)

that being said, there is also the joy of slamming your face into a kumquat or blackberries, etc....

:D

Bottom line, most other places are "easier" not necessarily better.. The less "work" a monger has to do, the better the place...si?
I disagree that new places are easier.. in fact it's much more work for some of us just to get there, then learn our way around a new venue, the currency, and sometimes even a new language.

When I go to Costa Rica, I spend most of my waking hours with my C*ck all up in some young, hot latina's pu*sy, mouth, or ass. The rest of my waking hours are spent having good times with the gents I have met while pursuing the young, hot latinas. I can't imagine how anyone could think that sucks. This club should really be called the COSTA RICA IS phucking AWESOME, BUT IN MY OPINION, THERE ARE A FEW PLACES THAT ARE EVEN MORE phucking AWESOME! club.

Aha! Therein lies the crux of the issue.

Some of us think apples are apples anywhere you go. They view apples as a commodity that only differ in terms of skin quality and price.

If that indeed is the case, then it stands to reason you might want to travel far and wide to find the best apples at the lowest prices. And that's great!

However, some of us like to go back to the same apple trees over and over again, because we like the taste of the fruit from those trees.

The trees like us as well and act differently with us than with other apple pickers.

Like waving its branches with great enthusiasm and droppng loads of apples after we stroke them for a while.

Or giving us extra apples for free.

Or even finding us apples from other trees when these trees' apples are overripe.

Or picking up their roots and accompanying us to social events and places just to spend more time with us.

How do you like DEM apples?

;)

:| :| personally I don't like DEM apples...too liberal, they make promises they can't keep, spend money they don't have, etc., etc, I've never heard DEM's called apples..maybe bannana's, but whatever...I know we aren't supposed to talk politics here, so i'll back off :| :| i do realise this post offers no usefull information, just one ma'ns opinion :|

What about pears? Since we are using a fruit analogy. How do you know if you would like a pear if you only keep trying apples?

Yea, there's a much better discussion on this topic in Cubanut's trip report... It says it all there really, and while it doesn't apply to all, it does to most... Just sayin'.. 8)

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=34174

I'd just assume drop the topic and let PR hate on it all he wants..but everytime we try and get away, he pulls us back in
