I did not say anyone would look great but........

I actually thought the Giants were going to run away with that game. Plaxico (who always seems to make the circus catches) grabs that TD pass and I think the game gets out of hand.

But a win is a win and now they can get ready for Dallas. I just hope they don't take a page out the Cowbouys' bye week playbook and send Eli and Plaxico to Las Vegas a la Romo and TO.

Dam! do New Yorker's ever run out of excuses? Dolphins had the same travel and field conditions but still only lost by 3 points to a vastly superior team. The Giants did not play well. It happens to every team during the season so just move on without the excuses.

From a Die Hard big blue fan, the reason the game was so close

1. The Dolphins played their hearts out KUDOS to that team they never quit with far less superior talent.

2. The Giants brought their D Game They played like SH*T period they did not play like a good team, only excuse was lack of effort and concentration hence all the stupid penalties at the end of the game, they still won which shows you they can be a very good team..

3. ELI BEING ELI he simply is not top tier in my opinion to many BAD BAD Passes with no look of I'm the leader he looks more like I'm an Idiot does anyone else thinks he looks INBRED?

4. Plaxico droppes to many passes early in every game!!! not the first time as well as he has played all year he drops many a pass that should be a TD... FOCUS the I didn't practice all week only goes so far.

5. Toomer drops a sure TD along with two stupid penalties Wheres the coaching staff here.

5 Field conditions an equalizer, bad field makes a difference in talent closer than it should be.

Man reasons but the bottom line is Giants have better personal that did not perform up to Snuff... I'll take it as a die hard GMEN FAN But they better get their act together with Romos Ribs and BIG MOUTH TO coming...

GO GMEN!

A win is a win.We are half way through the season and it's time to separate the men from the boys. The good teams with the fewest key injuries usually prevail in the end.Indy and NE are playing out of their minds!

No excuse ID just a fact. The team is built for a high risk high reward offense and that is tough to run in a quagmire. They will be better in the future. They improve every week 8)

Sorry have to call it an excuse since your previous post was:

First you say NO team would have faired any better. Than you change it to say a team that is NOT built for a high risk offense would have done better in that quagmire. Can't have it both ways amigo

Oh, and by the way, GMan's comments about Eli were spot on :P

Again how much football have you played :?:

Also I can have i both ways. It was amess out there and the GMEN like to take shots down the field. And they played 3 games in 13 days in 2 time zones. I am so sorry my boys do not live up to your lofty expectations

I am afraid you gents (GMan and ID) are correct...every week I hope to see improvement by Eli, but for every good game he has it seems he has 2-4 games where is average at best.

Eli cannot win on this board

When he has the SB trophy in his hands he still will suck. His hands are too small to grip the trophy :P

actually In H.S. I was 5' 8'' 155lbs in 1981 small even then and played 4 years of H.S. Football started all 4 years as the Field Goal and Long Snapper on punts.... My size certainly did not lend itself to be a run blocking guard and I certainly was not speed a foot..

So your comments of someone who has not played a down of football is way off base.. In fact my we had won something like 16 straight games played a far inferior team in a driving rain storm... We sleep walked through the game like the rain was going to make us melt and got our assess whooped because of it... I remember the game like it was yesterday and never forgot how we mailed it in... On a dry field that team couldn't stay within 21 points of us, but our offense was built for speed and quick strike, take that away and make us grind it out on top of mailing it in, well results were obvious.

I will stand by my assessment...

That is your opinion. But keep in mind. In a league where you are one play away from losing your liveyhood to injury or being replaced since there are no commited contracts to say something like that (let me be kind) is foolish
