Ok LaDiablo, after them beating my Heat the other days I bet them against Detroit tonight! I know what some are saying: Lakers suck on the road, but I'm looking for them to break out of this in the second half of season. So, bring me some luck tonight! :D

I was in Time Out sports bar in Parque Lleras watching the Heat - Lakers on their big screen suffering with a poor satellite feed. There were a few interested parties but mostly everyone was watching the Nationals play soccer on the smaller screens. With an Aguila Light (overpriced at 4900 COP) .... if anyone is interested...

Almost any decent team can get up for 1 game. Not to mention 3rd game of a West Coast roadie. No Bosh and Kobe played great. No chance they beat them in a series. The Heat will run them into the ground. It is probably all moot though. They won't get past OKC

+1

If the Heat can stay healthy, I think they'll win the championship.

I hope so. I just want let myself get too excited or hopeful being a Heat fan. I do think some of the teams that are capable of beating them in a game can't in a series, but they still have a ways to go IMO to get a ring. I'm pretty unbiased when it comes to my sports teams. And am a pretty realistic fan. I really think it is kind of cute the delusional fan that can't accurately assess their own team. Oklahoma City are also studs, but still not sure if they have the killer instinct to go all the way. I could very much see some team peaking at the right time get in there and surprise everybody for the championship. Oh well, it is a long way to go. BTW, as a long time Heat fan (think Rony Seikaly), all you ever hear is LeBron this and LeBron that. This is and will continue to be D Wade's team!

the problem is there is an apparent mutiny against our giant mouth coach. not only is his pie hole immense but the guy has a real ego issue. dude talks like hes the man and he hasnt done shit in the league. google mike brown quotes and imagine being a world championship team listening to this imbecile.
watching the team this year has been painful because you can tell he has no clue. sum total of his offense is let kobe shoot.

With a fully healthy Haslem and Miller they should win.

As a bettor that is always trying to improve, it is usually not about the strongest team of the season winning a championship in professional sports. Same in college to a smaller extent. It is all about peaking at the right time. I'm such a big Heat fan that I have vowed to get the logo as a new tat when they win their next ring. BUT, I have a sneaking suspicion that someone else is going to rise up during the playoffs and it won't be Miami or OKC, who are arguably the best right now.

Nice finish almost stole it... but they need to play at that level a little earlier in the game
