I'm mostly a lurker, been sick a lot lately. I enjoy both of you guy's posts. You both have good info/perspectives and reinforce what I think mostly. I'm sure others would agree. It's just the extreme shit that's posted sometimes. So in the words of Rodney King...and stick to talking about the good things CR has to offer. |

Haha, I was living in Newport Beach at the time of the L.A. riots, far from the fray, and I actually saw his live interview on TV where he stated "Can't we all just get along?" and I remember his impassioned plea to this day. I didn't sense he was a "bad guy", maybe just led a little too wild n crazy life, not necessarily dramatically worse than me as a yout.  I was saddened by his early untimely demise, he seemed like a likeable guy, (RIP) his life spiraled out of control, sadly, mostly based on his own struggles with alcohol and drugs, and he exited this earth way too young. He possibly could have used his situation as a force for good. In fact, on more than one occasion before I finally wised up, before I hit age 25, as you might note based on my attitude towards certain individuals who seem to revel in confrontation instead of comraderie here on this board, (This isn't my first rodeo, but I would hope it to be my last as I view CRT as a forum for friendships and information and laughs) I've unhesitantly, shall we say forcefully, "debated" various issues brought to my attention by law enforcement, ending up with me incarcerated for short periods, lol. But thank you for your respectful accolades...  I also hope your sickness isn't a severe one and you recover soon and get down here and join in the fun.  My own group of quacks, I mean docs, have issued me a term limit I wish congress and senators would receive of 3 to 5 years, but my situation is possibly beatable so I'm working on it, but perhaps because of it, and maybe I never was anyway, more and more I'm less tolerant of self righteous hypocrites dishing out false contrived wild accusations and abuse...  I'm behaving now, had my say...

I appreciate that. And same to you, hope you can enjoy many more years in CR. If I should leave this earth tomorrow, I know I had a good run, that's for damn sure. So I'm ok with that. Just want a better quality of like till then. Funny, I remember standing at a bus stop in Milwaukee after the Rodney King verdict came out . Some young brother sucker punches me in the jaw yelling "Rodney King fool!" before running away. I chalk it up to ignorance, frustration and not being able to control ones emotions. Pissed me off at the time but the threat had passed and my bus was coming LOL. I got on the bus laughing, went home and smoked a joint and laughed some more. Phuck, I haven't typed this much on the internet in a long time. Hahaha |
