It seems that you misunderstood my original post. I am not, have not, and will not ever be a member of Ashley Maddison website. So there's nothing to extort. This is some tech nerds wet dream of hitting it big by sending emails randomly and hoping to hit somebody who actually did sign up there.

What I intend to do is delete these emails as I receive them.

Dude: last time: That email didn't go to Ashley Madison. Give me a break. It went to five different ISP's (SHOTGUNS work@!!!) which the user was hopping through. That in and of itself is a violation of ANY isp's TOS let alone a blatant attempt at extortion. PERIOD.

PS: During the ping flood wars of the mid to late 1990's through 2001 the above method of having a flooder's ISP account closed proved to be very successful as when your access to the internet is removed, you are neutralized. Yes, many just signed on with different ISPs, but they eventually ran out of options depending on where the jackass was located. Many, many, many of the rat bastards had zero access to anything. The same was done to the Winnuke set. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WinNuke . I never ever fired back, I promise

Hey,

I'm sending you this email bcoz I promised my friend (who told me about this idea) that I'll share this with atleast 100 people.

Here's the idea by which you can double your money almost everyday.

Bitcoin, the largest digital currency of the world have started their buy back scheme because there are only limited amount of bitcoins available in the world (21 million). If you send them anything above 1 bitcoin, they will send you double the money via paypal almost immediately. So if you send 1 bitcoin which is around $250, you'll get $500 back in your paypal account within 5-10 mins.

You can search on google how to buy bitcoin in your nearby area.

Steps:

1) Send your btc to this address:
1AdDVd7S5SrU8dG6AW2M6AjvRcFZGUYtn7

2) In the notes, mention your paypal account. Please make sure you don't write anything else. Only your paypal email address.

Thanks & Regards,
John Parker

This outfit must be one of those groups of d-bags out of Nigeria or some other God forsaken shithole preying on gullible people...

Today''s email...

Quote:
I have your sex tape, and unless you send me $999 via BTC (i.e 4 BTC), I will go ahead and post your sex tape to the xxx websites.

Pay to 18qksLPj6KP3GDGPSHvNQMQDxpCyMNr63s
(Copy and paste the address! The above is a BTC address to which you need to send money. You need to use an online exchanger, like CoinBase or use LocalBitCoins.com to find a local exchanger in your area. You can pay directly through exchanger to our BTC address, you don?t even need to have BTC wallet.)

If you think about reporting us to authorities, feel free to try. But it will not help. We are not amateurs. The best thing that can happen, they will go publicly about it. We will, again, get some free publicity. But for you, price will go up.

IMPORTANT: It?s a one-time payment. Pay and you will not hear from us ever again!

In many cases, our ?customers? fear that if they pay us once, we will be back and ask for more. That?s not how we work. We never attack the same target twice.

We do bad things, but we keep our word.
Thank you

These motherfuckers deserve a bullet between the eyes.

Now wait a minute Orange, I see those guys as willing to promote your sex tape online for just $999. Sounds like a good deal to me! You'd only have to sell an extra 50 copies at $20 each to make that up!

What terrible luck you've had lately Orange. First your AM account was revealed, then someone tries to extort you, then someone else got your sex tape and again another attempt at extortion ! That sucks, hang in there.

Personally if I got those emails and I could afford to "lose" (change) my email address, I'd be tempted to play around with these guys by email. "I sent the payment by Bitcoin, did you receive it ?"

Funny you say that because in my younger days when free time was not so limited, I used to bait these scammers. I was/am a member of the forum below which teaches how to bait these cocksuckers and waste their time. If you have some free time, and you are bored, read some of posts on that forum. These Nigerian mofo's re so greedy that you would be surprised what they are willing to do when they think there is so payout at the end of the road. You can bait them into going to a different town/city from Lagos to try and pick up the money. And you know they went because when they email you, you can trace their email header and know exactly where they are, as opposed to where they first emailed you from. The whole point of that forum is to keep these scumbags occupied chasing ghosts so they have less time to scam real victims.

Sad part is that if they weren't succeeding they wouldn't keep doing it

Yep, and it's people who don't have a lot that usually get scammed for their life savings. And surprisingly, even educated (intelligent?) people with money are suckered too (Cali cardiologist sent a few hundred thousand to these dousche bags.).

Watch this guy from Australia try to track down the scammers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HbvY1ZDhwg

The new one is dating sites. They pry on lonely, desperate people who will do stupid things hoping for love.

And there's the old Microsoft Tech Support scam. They send you an email about your system sending them errors about some virus which can cripple your system. You call and speak to somebody like "Ryan Wilson" (real name : Habib or something similar) who walks you through the steps of setting up a remote tech session where they get access to your entire computer. They pull up the command window and put typical commands that make all kinds of data appear on the screen and make you believe it's a virus. Then they try to hit you up for money to remove the virus and for a multi-year protection plan. It's a few hundred dollars. If you refuse, since they are connected to your computer, they drop a malicious code that either really fucks up your system, or can even start deleting all files.

Youtube has tons of videos on these 419 scams. And even some on the stings cops have set to catch these scumbags. However, most of the time, they sent a "partner" or some innocent person not involved in the scam as a courier to pick up the money. And they're the one who gets busted while the dirtball gets off to scam the next victim.

The problem is that these scams are all across the boarder, they never target victims in their own countries. So authorities have their hands tied when it comes to going after them.

Today's email is downright frightful, if you don't know that it's a scam.

Quote:
Hey! You do not know who we are, but we have been tracking you and your loved ones for a while now. We know your schedules. We know where you all live and spend your time. We also know how to kill any one of you without being caught. Now, don?t panic. This isn?t personal. You did nothing to deserve this. You were just one of a handful of families unfortunate enough to draw our attention. However, nobody has to die. Allow us to explain.

You have until 12:00 PM on Oct 03, 2015 to pay us $3,000. If you do not comply with that simple demand, the following will happen: we will kill you, or someone else to whom you are close. Or you can simply pay us the $3,000. To make the payment do the following:

> Use any online Bitcoin exchange, such as Bitstamp or Coinbase or any other local exchanger (Google it) to send the $3,000 to the following Bitcoin address.
1LhvTdj4hRfzZbYkG8rBCRSTkqHpSQ4WM5
> Copy and paste the address, instead of typing it manually.

You are finished. Breath easy, and live your life in peace knowing you will never have to deal with us again.

Cuidate mucho!
But it's hard to take these clowns seriously though. They're so incompetent that the deadline they set has passed 4 weeks ago.
