It's been a few months for me, still get the craving for a CR Marlboro Light, Cigs are so cheap there.

DONE.. FINISHED... OVER !!!!! and congrats to you

Awesome, I still have to have the Reds - are you using the nicotine in your e-cig or have you gone to just the flavors? Curious because I need to quit (again).

Peace,

DR

I just had an awesome Avo Lounge Cigar, a Churchill.....but I'm going to run through my personal stash fast, so I am going to check out Don Ursulo and see if I like them.

They have their own line and one in particular was great - it was Churchill sized, beautiful wrapper, and was made w/ a "special" type of tobacco - Bruce or Don Ursulo can tell you more.

Again, great cigar - but at $10/per a little expensive.

The bad news about CR re cigars is they have a really high import tax on 'em, and overall, not a great selection of domestic brands.

I would happly smoke Don Ursulo's but can't aford $20 a day to support my habit!

Well I willl probably bring more cigars with me on my next visit back to the states. I brought 60 with me and I'm smoking about five-six per week, so we'll see how long they last before I have to buy some Don Ursulos.

Has anyone done any business with the new cigar guy at HLH? I met him last trip... seems like he wants to do the right thing.

Hello PR - by business, do you mean purchasing cigars? I bought some, and really liked them :)

I bought some (and smoked some  ) when I was there in May - I liked Bruce, and Don Ursulo a lot; agree that they are good guys and focused on building their business and being customer oriented - plus, their product is well made; I REALLY liked the ones I smoked there made w/ a special blend.

I don't mean to piss them off b/c I like them (and regardless of what I think, they have the right to price their product at whatever level they choose), and really like what Boyd has done at HLH, but I'm a buyer for that cigar ALL DAY LONG @ $6 per vs the $10 they are charging - its really good - in fact, I wish I had one right NOW

I'm a 2 per day smoker, and $20/day is just too much. "What this country needs is a good $5 cigar....."  :D :)

Costa Rica Cigars

I met the owner of Adrians Cigars in Houston. They were not too bad but overpriced. I am going to see how they are priced here in CR.

Wow. I did not even know this thread existed. I hired an SEO guy to post on random forums and he chose this one. I found it confirming his forum posts.

K-pax - Contact me if you wish to purchase the Adrian's in Costa Rica. I believe I am the only one here to carry them. I place my orders with Michael Rosales, the owner of Adrian's from Texas. Then I scoop my boxes off of the shipment before he ships to the US, so no US or Costa Rica taxes are paid.

I believe I get then to the US at a better price then all the US retailers, but I can get them to you cheaper down here.

Mike
