You guys have some great imaginations!

These last few episodes have been a bit disappointing to me, as I was expecting some "shocking" developements. For example, the news about Sylvio, one of the most beloved characters on the show, and Tony's most loyal captain, being in an irreversable coma, does not ring true. Somehow, I don't think that the show will end with him in a vegetative state. More interesting would have been for him to have been in bed with the feds, particulary considering his level of omerta.

I wish the final espisode lasted two hours. One hour just goes by too damn fast!

I think that they will do something totally unexpected. What's the most unexpected thing that can happen?

I think Tony turning rat for the feds would be shocking. Him selling out both families, and relocating to Arizona under witness protection. I don't think they want to kill him off because there's future money to be made here, so they need him alive.

I think Chase has too much respect for the whole thing to go out with Tony going to the Feds, it's way too inconsistent with the whole story. Also, I think he has way too much respect to let future earning potential change the story which I heard the general ending was scripted a long time ago.

I have heard, but can't confirm for sure, that the Sopranos movie would be a prequel or something that spans historically, therefore the ending on Sunday shouldn't be impacted.

I was always hoping that some unfinished story line would play a big part in the end, some loose end not taken care of coming back in the end. I know, it's way too much like Carlito's Way....

But what was the point of agent Harris being in the show at all for the longest time, unless it was simply to give Tony the heads up? What about the "arabs?"

Wouldn't it be great if the Russian from the Pine Barrens came out of nowhere?

I also think Parisi senior has been around way too much to not play a big part, I've been thinking that as well.

Either way, it's been a great run, the beginning was amazing, and looking forward to the end.

Is that the guy that Chris and Pauly took out in the woods in the snow and who got away? That was some funny shit. Them eating mustard packets in an abandoned van, freezing their balls off. Pauly losing his shoes in the snow and thinking he was gonna lose his toes.

The best ending spoiler I have read so far: :)

Quote:
The idea behind the sopranos started with the ending, David Chase has been quoted as saying the entire show spawned of a sick and twisted ending that he could'nt get out of his head. with that said< that ending has been delayed for 3 seasons< so any plot of ade, oh god am I going to miss the ade speculation, or any other filler material being important is wrong. The show is about the Sopranos, if one family does'nt kill him the other one will.

Anyways on to the spoilers. Carm blows up, as in kaboom, over, with no time to speculate that we didnt see her head blow off, burnt to a crisp good old fashion remote control bomb. It is witnessed by AJ and Meadow, who are on they're way to a safe house, at this point AJ finally steps up, knowing his father is outmatched with little muscle left. (I can hear you already saying AJ could'nt kill himself how the hell can he kill someone else). This has been in his destiny, he will help his father. Meadow will fade to black as Tony orders her off with Janice and she gives him a mouthfull about how she knew he killed that man when they went to college (s1 ep 5?), and he is the devil, blah blah blah... that will be the end of Meadow and Janice. Tony and his lowly crew with new members AJ, and Pat Jr. will develop a plan, Tony is called to a sit down with a mafia boss we have never met or ever heard of, which I felt was kinda lame, and Tony smells it out. Paulie walnuts comes up with the info of where Phil is (some cabin) and sends Benny and AJ to handle it. Benny kills Phil at a gas station, also alternate version of AJ killing Phil was left on the cutting board. Tony and Paulie wipe out the remaining crew, with only Carmine Jr. remaining to deal with after Agent Harris plays him a tape of Carmine and Phil discussing why the hit on Tony did'nt go down when Carmine brought him to Phils house ( Phil's voice saying cooler heads have prevailed was Phil telling Carmine the hit was off) when AJ returns his father is ready for a father son mafia moment and AJ is having none of it, Agent Harris who is acting on intelligence that Tony is going to kill Carmine goes to discourage him, and walks in on AJ with glock loaded pointed at Tony. he tells Tony that he killed his mom, Bobby, Jackie Jr, and god knows who else and the killing stops today, but before he can squeese the trigger Agent Harris fires a shot and hits AJ in the chest, Tony screams and runs to AJ who dies in his arms similar to after his suicide attempt. In the end Tony is by himself, no where to go. The final scene is Dr. Melfi reading it all in a newspaper at a ice cream parlor. The end.

This is the real stuff ladies and gents, get your tissues ready cause this one is a tear jerker

My conclusion is that everyone dies and Tony and AJ turn themselves in to the FBI for protection. In the end Tony and AJ get a job at the Waffle House in Omaha.

LH-

Sounds too good to be true. As long as they don't involve those ducks, I will be happy. Where did you get that spoiler?

I can't remember the specific site, but it was a forum that had a long ass thread going on possible spoilers for the final episode. I was bored so I decided to read some of the possibilities, and the one posted above seemed pretty doable considering all the loose ends to tie up in 60 minutes. :?

Who really knows what the hell is going to happen, the final episode is more protected than Fort Knox at this point. :(

On a lot of popular series when it comes time to end they film three or four different ones. Even the cast are not aware of which one the producers will use as the final episode. This way there can be no leaks from cast members or film crews.

In the end Tony will survive because he has more up his sleeve than Phil. Hard Phil goes down. Tony gets Paulie (the double crosser) and Phil with the help of Carmine. No one in the family is killed since these are old school guys. 8)

I hadn't really thought of Carmine playing a big part in the finale as I never really took him seriously as a "player" even though he rose up with the passing of his father. I must admit, though, even though I have always thought of him as a bit of a buffoon, he is one of my favorites for that very reason. His use of malapropisms and his pretentiousness is one of my favorite parts of the show. He is not alone, however. Check out this trailer:

My guess... a major confrontation between both family's with a crappy

hollywood shoot out killing Tony and Phil. I too have been disapointed in

the story lines and it seems like they are just killing off all the players

that we all love. But who knows maybe we will all be shocked by an

ending nobody expects.

Everybody is shot, Dirty Harry style, and then the last scene is Tony waking up in bed and the whole entire series has simply been a dream. Kind of like the Bob Newheart show!

Why not?
