Sorry for hijacking this erudite thread for a moment but this is as good a place as any to correct the above mistake. First let me say that it's one of my favorite quotes and that I've made the same mistake because it is erroneously attributed to Tom Clancy all over the internet. However, it doesn't sound like Clancy directly, so I figured it was something he wrote for one of his fictional characters. It's not. It's actually a quote from Steve Martin's "I believe" monologue from SNL in May of 1980.

Just wanted to set the record straight and win the contest at the same time.
