Maybe a more telling statistic as far as to how much of your life you're frittering away on this board might be your "post per trip" count. Mine is currently at around 78 (2880 posts divided by 37 total mongering trips of which 25 have been to CR), though I'm fudging a bit because about five of those CR ventures were novia-related. Not as bad as I thought actually...

Some may argue (of course), but I would say if your count is up around 200 posts per trip or more, you might want to think about finding another useful hobby or two to occupy your time... :P :wink:

Yeah I might want to but where would I find as much information about so many subjects with so much intellectual stimulation? The caveat in my case is my post count was artificially boosted by the Thread Dumpster diving, but even subtracting those, I'm still way over Brother GetRhythm's threshold. This Board is here for whatever reason each individual wants it to be here for, as long as we don't use it for malevolence or commercial purposes, and with no life-impediments, my time's my own.

PS--I don't have it in mind that Brother GR's post was aimed at me or any individual, and he is as free as I am to craft and send a Post; OTOH mine wasn't a mea culpa, merely an apologia>>stop me before I raid the dictionary again. Ho ho.

I seldom leave the house unless I need food and I seldom leave the neighborhood unless I'm going to the airport.

If you are reading this post YOU know how it feels...the OBSESSION with hot sexy latinas coaxing out your leche...the social isolation at home in the US, laughing derisively at the 40 something gringas who want to bed you down with their saggy cuerpos......the online searching for connections with other hobbyists to share war stories and information....it's who and what we have become....for better or worse...Cudos to WITLING for bravely bearing his monger SOUL! :lol: I know of at least ONE other high posting monger that fits this description to a T :wink: And a shitload more who profess to actually WORK for a livng :lol:

If anyone knows of anyone who needs a mainframe programmer with 27 years of IBM Cobol/JCL experience (I'm also retired Air Force and had a TS/SCI clearance) please let me know.

With 3 trips to Medellin, 1 to Thailand and a couple to Vegas my severance is dwindling rapidly.

I have nothing keeping me in ATL (except the access to a major airport). All I have to do is put the house up for sale (working on the renovations now) and I'm gone.
