Someone complained that San Jose was a boring place at night.

I agree. Stay away from San Jose if you want hot evening action. Why even the bars close for Good Friday and the day before and on every election period for days on end. And it is ultra dead from Christmas thru New Years. Shame.

My drinking and gambling and run around buddies are bored to death an night in the bars in the "gringo gulch". We will be drinking in a crowded hot bar up the street from our hotel and I look around and they will have disappeared somewhere. I see them at breakfast the next morning at the rail but they NEVER talk about what happened the night before.

Some of them even take short walking trips going somewhere behind the Holiday Inn durning the day for an hour or two. Cannot figure that out.

Sometimes around 7 P.M. they will get into a taxi and tell the driver to take them to the Tin Jo restaurant but I never go. When I see them later in the night they look well fed like they had a happy meal.

I advise them to go to Venice, FL or Tampa/St.Pete for real action. I heard the some local expert TripAdvisors never ever leave Tampa/St.Pete it is so nice there.

Isn't the park somewhere behind or next to the Holiday Inn? I think his friends are into the park gals.

El C, the one that was really clueless was the original poster. What Yamamoto posted was just done tongue-in-cheek. What I found particularly funny was the little dig he made at the end that was directed at a certain CR "know-it-all" from Tampa, ahem, that we all know and love. I think I know who Yamamoto is a now - a certain wiseacre who likes to name himself after disgraced military figures.

I live in the Tampa-St.Pete area, there is no action here, hell thats why I go to CR. If it wasn't for a few local Asain Massage Parlors I'd have to move to CR.

Have you tried out Osaka yet like I suggested? At $100 (including tip) for F/S GFE with a fairly decent looking asian gal, it isn't all that much worse than CR after you factor in all the travel costs (to CR I mean, not across the bridge from St Pete).
