Just got back from CR and as usual had a great time. Problem was my digital camera is out of date so I need to buy a card reader.(Pain in the neck but useful) Also didn't need the lap top but brought it for email and internet.
Time to make changes. So I'll bore everyone with a poll.

I'm looking for recommendations for a new digital camera and portable device for email and internet.
No specific criteria for either.
My phone works for most of these things but it is very limited. If you have a DSLR that you consider portable let me know. Point and shoots are ok and very portable but limited in capabilities.
I know many of you have IPads or net books so please chime in/ opine with why you use one or the other.

My Samsung Galaxy 3 and 4 both take awesome pictures. Seems to be as good or better than my Sony digital camera.
