Ever wondered why McDonald's burgers tasted and/or smelled the way they do?
This was why. I already knew that they (and other fast-food places) used they grade-Z dogfood-quality (maybe not even fit for dogs) cattle leftovers, but pink slime as well? Yum!
I haven't eaten any fast-food burgers in over 2 years. I now make my own with 93% lean ground beef/sirloin or ground turkey. I even make my own pizza now, it's not pizza-snob quality but it's far healthier than the crap or at pizza places or the frozen ones (which are amazingly high in salt and fat). I don't use sausage, but things like grilled chicken, ham/canadian bacon or ground turkey.
