Yes, fans--the Phillies won the NL East tonight--for the 5th straight year--way ahead of any other division/league. Once we show any remaining NL mutts the meaning of the term "mere formality", it's on to The Real Show. It'd be swell if the AL could throw up some serious competition(tho' I'm sanguine about the prospect) several of our players are in contract years and a 7-game series can only work in their favor + natch, hefty incentives for all remaining. Anyway, bring'm on--we're rested and ready.

Absolutely agree. No excuses-the Phililies have been execrable. Stumbling and fumbling--that others are in the same mode is no cause for joy or even amelioration. Sure gonna be an interesting post-season. Stay tuned.

with that staff anything less than a series win is epic fail
