Here's a piece of software specifically designed to save Web-page content. It also allows you to manipulate and edit (highlighting important passages, etc.). This is a great help to bloggers but a generally useful appearing product to others. Available in a free version as well as corporate versions. Read this full review as I haven't done it justice.
NOTE: This only helps going forward--it doesn't retrieve lost stuff.
