I was confused when I heard the word 'service' used with these agencies..

Internal Revenue 'Service'
U.S. Postal 'Service'
Telephone 'Service'
Cable TV 'Service'
Civil 'Service'
State, City, County & Public 'Service'
Customer 'Service'

This is not what I thought 'service' meant.


But today, I overheard two farmers talking, and one of them said he had hired a bull to 'service' a few cows. BAM!!! It all came into focus. Now I understand what all those agencies are doing to us.

And your problem with the US Postal Service is what exactly? Maybe I can refer you to the proper person or section to get what you want.

Postal Service to discontinue Saturday delivery to save $$$

problems with the Postal Service are too many to start recalling.., Lets just use the latest episode of as the Postal Service Turns

Brought a package on Wednesday approx. 3 lbs. well packed and insured with delivery confirmation. Paid an extra fee of course for this service on top of the Priority Mail service... (yeah right) Assured would be no longer than 3 days for arrival.. It is now Wednesday of the following week and it has still not arrived... ... Why am I NOT surprised...

I know I'm setting myself up big time with this but--I will try to answer what questions I can about the Postal Service on an individual basis. Understand I am not anything like a spokesman or completely knowledgeable of Postal processes but will give it a shot. Let the avalanche commence.
