The flag on the old Canadian two dollar bill (withdrawn from circulation in 1996, replaced by a $2 coin called the "toonie") is the Ontario flag with a British Union Jack in the upper left corner. The Ontario provincial flag is there because the Canadian Parliament is in Ottawa, Ontario.

But the robin on the reverse side is the american robin.

I just scared my girlfriends goldfish from it's normal cruising route.
It stayed hidden for over a minute.
I think this list is weak, and somewhat in the old wive's tales category.
