The other day I was doing a You Tube thing when a pop up asked if I wanted to install Google Chrome, I thought it was supposed to improve the You Tube picture quality. I clicked Yes.
I'm not computer savvy and the new Windows Vista is made for me, pretty much let it do it's thing. So far so good.
Well, the GChrome install was quick and easy, a few questions and I was set up with the new Chrome.
Well Crap, No more tool bar. No more Favorites, No more Home icon and No improvement to picture quality. No Cut and Paste except on the same page, if I navigated at all, lost the copy. Google wasn't responsive, no customer support when I called, no response from their online support email. When I went to uninstall I got a warning that I could permanently damage my system if I uninstalled. After two days of having to do all of my surfing using the History and back/forward arrows and typing in names, and no response from Google, I uninstalled Chrome. I lost some short cuts, worst was my direct link to the internet. I was blessed and lucky to find another route so I'm back online and surfing again.
I spent some time on the net trying to see if there was something I could do to correct my problems, found out a lot of people have problems with Chrome bogging down their systems and eventually grinding to a halt.
Just my 2 cents worth, Google Chrome sucks. I told them that so I don't feel bad telling you all that
