A search turned up two mentions of Asiana airlines, but no one had actually used them. They appear to be 15-20 % cheaper from DTW to BKK for the time slots that I have. Any direct experience with them?

flew from NYC to BKK with them a few years ago - no complaints at all. if the price they're offering is good, go for it.
