Here's a list of hotel chains at or near the Philly Airport. All are a straight shot on I-95 to Citizens Bank Park at Broad and Pattison Avenue. Listed from nearest to farthest.

Residence Inn/Hilton/Sheraton Suites/Aloft/Four Points Sheraton/Hampton Inn/Microtel/Fairfield Inn/Extended Stay Deluxe/Courtyard by Marriott/Embassy Suites/Extended Stay America/Marriott/Renaissance/Econo Lodge/Quality Hotel/Red Roof Inn/Comfort Inn/Ramada Inn

For "etc" pick up a copy of Philadelphia Weekly and/or City Paper--both list all manner of Restaurants and entertainment options. They're free and your lodging place probably has them.

Any other questions you have I'll do my dead-level best to answer here or via PM. Philadelphia extends you a warm welcome. GO PHILLIES.

In that case, PR, you will be sleeping through what promises to be one of the best, most dynamic World Series ever. Sweet dreams, Bub.
GO PHILLIES

MLB and Fox are considering cancelling the Rays / Phillys series due to lack of interest

Granted, this series may lose some of the hard-core fans from the major-market cities whose teams were such miserable failures (talkin' NYC/Boston/Chicago and of course LA) but it will gain many more casual fans and maybe even non-fans cuz' it will be such a scrappin' contest. Plenty of action every inning. My one beef is the late start time which denies the younger K*ds a chance to see the later innings, at least in the Eastern time zone. Purely a marketing decision by MLB and a poor one.

Actually Jazz, I will be supporting the Phils because I do believe in the concept of NL loyalty. Good luck.

Any young pitcher could benefit from watching Mr. Hamels' masterful performance against a variety of hitting styles. His (and of course Mr. Ruiz's ) pitch selection will be studied, you better believe. The Rays had best gird their hindquarters if Mr.'s Ryan, Burrell and Rollins awake from their slumber with the lumber.
