Wow, I need to retool my reading skills. At first I thought this was a thread dissing American girls because he wasn't going to get to go to CR and screw hookers because the person he's married to wanted him home. :shock:

It sounds like he needs to set the tone here. His wife is possibly looking to tie him down a little, if for no other reason than security. It's probably not a bad idea to bring up the idea of hiring a dog sitter for a few days.

Dave...I agree with you. My post is under the assumption that many/most of the "wives" we are discussing on this thread are not neccessarily there or dependable to perform the list of tasks you have mentioned. Most of these guys get NONE of the support, love or devotion you and I are lucky enough to have found. :wink: They are paying heavily for a fantasy that is not reality...

I know this much ... My fantasy life beats the hell out of any reality life I had when I was married. Can't say I envy any of the dudes I know who are in these so called real relationships. It's definately the other way around. As for Dave's list... Those are things that women did 60 years ago. Today, They can't cook as good as us , would rather spend our money on nannys & maids than clean or raise K*ds, and the cuddling support system is usually only a pre-marital thing. ... And the funeral? I wouldn't want a gringa arranging my funeral or even showing up for it unless she was related to me.
