Post subject:  GOYI.....GOOD SUSHI
GOYI COMIDA JAPONESA........located directly opposite the Mariscar Restaurant on Central Avenida, in the modern shopping plaza on the 2nd floor. If you like Sushi and other Japanese cuisine, this is a great little place to go. The food is good and reasonably priced. The people working there seem a little reserved, and the Sushi Chef reminded me a little of The Soup Nazi on the Jerry Seinfeld television show, but the great food he prepares is worth it. They even have a small balcony overlooking Central Avenida where you can sit and enjoy the food, while watching all the "goings on" on Central Avenida. I've enjoyed the food here on numerous occasions, and highly recommend it.

Good to know. The place down the block from the DR has some of the worst Sushi I have ever had.....

Since there is no rice, that would be sashimi :wink: , or I hope there is nothing white and pasty....... :roll:

Only time I ever got sick with sushi was at this place.
