Nuestra Tierra = "Our Land"
This 24 hour restaurant is located on Av. 2 between calles 13 and 15 as stated above. I wrote a review of this place last October after returning home from my first C.R. adventure. The food is excellent, although you'll pay slightly less for the same type of food at local sodas. I found the seating to be a bit uncomfortable, a bit like sitting at a picnic table. The service was wonderful, and the food was delicious. Aside from the uncomfortable seating, my only other complaints about this place would be the marimba players, flower sellers and others looking for the gringo cash. Others on this forum have commented on the flies, but I never noticed any the night we were there.
Be sure to order coffee. They make the old fashioned Costa Rican way, pouring boiling water through the coffee in a little burlap bag, suspended from a small wooden stand over the cup. Coffee doesn't get any better.
I'll go back there when I return to Costa Rica in late August, for sure.
