Anyone have experience with this restaurant: food quality, ambience, service, price?
I believe there are two locations--one in Pavas and the other (perhaps) in Escazu.
Any information would be apppreciated.

Pelo, it is my favorite restaurant for pizza. There are two of them.I frequent the one in Escazu near my house. The pizza is different in that the crust is very thin. The other offerings are great too.I like the caesar salad. It is not cheap however. The largest pizza ( very large) with two ingrediants runs around 6500 colones. ($14) A downside is that they do not deliver.It is very popular here in Escazu.I asked the owner one day why he didn't hire someone to deliver.He said that he was afraid the quality would suffer if he tried to do that much additional volume. |
