Wondering if my old fav restaurant survived? Was located across the street from an old CRT favorite MP called IDEM. Used to have a great steak sizzler. |

How is Wong's across the street from the Jade Museum? Thought I might give it a try this week. https://m.facebook.com/pages/Restaurant ... 8653108914 |

Wong's really focuses on Dim Sum which IMO is better as a group so you can get more dishes. Check google maps for a picture menu https://maps.app.goo.gl/KGUbc8rEAcYMxfZq5?g_st=ic My current favorite for Asian in the central district is Coconut Bar & Restaurant https://maps.app.goo.gl/M22wq6od245h7B14A?g_st=ic I also like Restaurante Bai Ji (especially for pressed duck) https://maps.app.goo.gl/JjBn3EhswCTFyGfx8?g_st=ic Tekio is a small but trendy Korean place inside an Asian grocery. I don't care for it, but lots of asian teens hang out there and several local places source their live fish there. (Avoid the Chicken Floss Cake, it tastes as gross as it sounds) https://maps.app.goo.gl/6TgoaV1p3NcH9NTv5?g_st=ic |

Used to visit both Tin Jo and Don Wongs after stopping into IDEM. Personally I liked Wong's better than Tin Jo. The food was comparable but Wongs was a bit more casual and a bit less expensive. I have no idea how the restaurants compare today. |
