Who knew? I was researching restaurants for upcoming trip and just thought I would share with everyone that Trip Advisors #1 restaurant at the moment is A French Restaurant called La Terrasse - which is Literally less than 25 yards from La Amistadt Hotel. What a great opportunity to mix it up and try something different. I will take some pics and write about it next week. i have eaten there. look to spend $100 for two with wine. you have to make an appointment during the day, for the dinner seating. its a small house with about 20 seats. authentic french food, with the french spices. dont expect huge portions. |

I have eaten there and while I enjoyed it, my date was a little unsure of the menu. This is definitely food that is not the norm for most Costa Ricans to eat. I ended up ordering for her as I knew what she would normally eat, and it ended up being fine. She tried a couple of things I ordered and she said they were good, but she would not order it if we went back. Also if you are taking a working girl in there, make sure she is dressed appropriately, and be prepared for people to be looking at you, especially if they are busy. For the amount of food you get, it is a bit on the pricey side, but it is typical for a French restaurant. I for one was glad to try it but there are other places I prefer to go for the money spent. La Esquina de Buenos Aires would be my choice over that one, unless you are set on eating French, in that case you cannot go wrong. |
