It's not easy competing with La Esquina because that place is really good when you put together the ambience, the food, and the service. However if your in the Sabana area or if you want a lower cost option, Aqui Es works. I had the parrillada for one which was on special and came with chorizo, chicken (which rocked), vacio, and another cut of beef. Also came with a small salad. €8300! The service was attentive, friendly and efficient by San José standards. There's quite a lot to choose from on the menu and some pretty decent wines. The only knock is that the street traffic around 6 pm. Its off the Parque Maria Auxiliadora a couple of blocks from La Bodeguita del Medio. |
