LaAmistad has some great seafood dishes on their menu. Sea Bass, Surf and Turf, etc. Stayed there 8 days and never had a bad meal. |

LaPrincessa Marina, one on LaSabannah Park is very popular with the Ticos, not very fancy but nice, very clean, mid range price, can get crowded at peak times. All the cabbies know it. Very good ceviche, seaf food soup is my favorite. When it's busy, if you are drinking, order two at a time. |

I suggest the Europa down the hill from the Del Rey on the left--very good |

I rarely walk that way so i can't picture it. General menu or just seafood? How far down from the Rey? I'll give it a try. |

I have taken my girlfriend and her family there and also people from the Presidente when I used to stay there and everybody liked the food and environment--high rated restaurant in Costa Rica and been there 100 years--only 10-12 tables |

Which street "down the road" from the Rey is Europa? I'm going to be there soon and would like to try it. |

I remember it now."Down the hill" confused me, I was thinking toward the Colonial. Out the main door of the DR, take a left, a block down on the left before you hit Avenida Central as Asco stated. |

Balcon used to have CRT discount. I don't know if they still honor it. |

Europa ranked 88th in trip advisor, 3.5/5. Generally very favorable reviews. The atmosphere looks nice. Regarding having a beer after dinner, I would recommend the sports bar at the Dunn inn. |

Machu Pichu restaruants have very good seafood, pretty reasonable. One is in the Paseo Colon area, the other is in San Pedro, both ten minute cab rides from the gulch. |

Machu Pichu is a good place for lunch OR dinner. AND it is very close to the original 360 near Paseo Colon. |
