I Wili be in SJ Dec 23-26. Will I have a major problem with Holiday closings? Any suggestions welcome. |

There will be numerous restaurants open over that period. All the hotel restaurants (Presidente,Morazon, Balmoral, Holiday Inn, Del Mar) are sure to be open as well as the Colonial and others. Del Mar has a special Christmas Dinner Roast Turkey etc. |

What is open outside the gulch depends on the year. In consecutive xmas days in Pavas, one year the only place that was open was the Chinese grocery store, but the next year everyplace was open. When a friend and I went to La Esquina de Ceci (now closed), we were about the only customers they had until Ceci came in an hour or two later. The tube on xmas day seems to be dedicated to drunks fighting with bulls. |
