Buddy and I stopped in the Del Rey around midnight last night. Seriously talent is way down compared to previous visits two years ago. Two sodas and two orders of fries placed on one large plate. 20 minutes to arrive from the Del Mar across the street so they arrived cold. Cuenta was 8200 colones or $17.08 for cold sub-par fries. About $8.54 usd each. WTF! It's no wonder I detest the horrid food of the del Rey/Mar. I wouldn't mind paying their prices if it was half decent but I have never had a good meal here. |

Crazy Phuck us prices. Their club sandwhich is good and the seafood soup but neither worth the numbers. |

1st place I always go to for dinner when I arrive in CR is the Del Mar restaurant. I like the ambiance in there and I've never had a bad meal. I generally get there around 9:00 and have a really good meal with several Cuba Libres and spend a couple hours just relaxing before heading into KL for the evening. Don't much care for DR anymore. Lost its luster compared to 5 or 6 years ago when things were MUCH better. |
